I got the birdbath from a friend who didnt want another one. I already have one a little nicer so thought about what I could do with it. Its an old one, plastic and needed to be cleaned up a bit

Does this make you diiiiiiiizzzy? LOL
I made this to give to a friend of mine. I waited for her to come pic up her son and asked her opinion on if I should finish the entire basin or leave it as is so that when it was full of water you wouldnt have any glass showing above it. She said leave it as is. Then I picked it up and went to hand it to her as I said "Merry Christmas", LOL. She wouldnt take it, said it was too pretty and I worked too hard on it, little does she know it took just under 2 hours, LOL. I hate to see someone cry over a gift but Im glad she liked it. I had to call her son in to get it and threaten her with my DH, LOL. DH said you better take it cuz I dont want to hear Janet whining all night about it!!!! It was a hoot.
So what do ya'll think? What would you have done different? Im also thinking about putting some around the pedestal to go with the basin when I make another one.

Go to the bowling alley and ask for some-i got 22 that way! :)

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

I did!! They said they dont do that. Now why they wouldnt get rid of a bunch of damaged bowling balls that they cant use anyway, I have no idea. I even told them what I wanted to use them for. Go figure

I got some really pretty bballs with peoples names on them-they really look cool with the pearl stones on them!

they said people dont come back for them so they endup tossing them.

Isnt that interesting. Maybe I should go back and see if I can find the room where they take care of them. Writing the names and what not and ask the person back there instead of the people at the front counter.
