The chewed edges on the first picture look like maybe slug damage, but the second picture shows leaves that seem more chopped (or chomped) off.... maybe a bunny? Have you had problems with either?

You could sprinkle a little slug bait &/or a little cayenne pepper and see if the situation improves.... Good luck!

I found a shiny trail on one this afternoon-- so off to get slug stuff tomorrow -- and yes now that I think of it we had bunnies last year - so off the the gorcey store to get some Japenos.... LOL!
