I would like to find out if there is way to kill night shade without using heavy duty weed killers like Roundup? Can anyone help me with this problem? Also does it need to have the roots dug up to really get rid of it?

Usually nightshade is easy to pull up from the roots. The problem is the seeds. Birds spread them everywhere( poison ivy too). If you don't let them seed they aren't a problem. Jessamine
