I noticed a few of my rose bush leaves have spots. My cousin's wife told me to buy a product called "leaf spot" for it. I've looked at Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart, and couldn't find it anywhere. Does this product still exist, and if not, is there something else I can use?
Leaf Spot Questions
I also noticed something that looks similar on my camellias. Is it the same thing, and will the same remedy fix both plants?
Right now, it's only a few leaves here and there, so the overall plants still look nice, I just wanted to fix it before it becomes a huge problem.
Here's the camellia leaf...
JDEE,
TRY ANY FUNGICIDE. IT APPEARS TO BE A FUNGUS.
SCHULTZ MAKES A (GARDEN SAFE) FUNGICIDE WITH 3 PRODUCTS IN ONE: Wal-mart stocks it in green spray bottle.
1.Fungicide controls black spot, rust, powdery mildew
2.Insecticide controls whiteflies, apids and other insect pests
3.Miticide controls spider mites, and other mite pests
Apply per directions. If no improvement within say 3 weeks, then your plant may have a virus; there is no control for it.
I hope you have good success with eliminating this fungus.
I battle fungi , insects & mites every summer here in southeast TX, Zone 8b.
