impressive - do they eat crops?

Tucson, AZ(Zone 9a)

At 400 pounds they eat anything they please, I'd wager. I shouldn't complain about my darn ground squirrels.

And how did you get him on the scale? ;)

Clearfield, PA(Zone 5a)

Hi, I don't know too much of what he eats, just grass, apples and corn for right now. He sniffed one of my daffodil flowers but went back to eating grass instead. He has been coming in for about 2 weeks.

TucsonJen, My hubby estimated him at about 400 lbs.

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

I noticed some of my emerging tulips chewed off by a deer. Tracks were there.
The bigger the animal, the more they eat!

My Lord! I didn't know you had elk in PA! I live in Ohio and all I though we had in these parts were white tails! I am stunned!

We only have white tails here in Erie, pa., in the winter, come summer they turn tan!! Gil.
