DH spotted a dandelion, so he dug out the Scotts Turf Builder Plus II (that has been sitting in the root cellar for two years!) and had his hired help walk around with the spreader. Unfortunately, this guy isn't the brightest and now fertilizer with broad leaf weed killer is EVERYWHERE. Heavy. In every flower bed, on the daylilies, hostas, columbines, just everything. It says all over the bag NOT to put it on the flowerbeds, but that would have required thought and reading which apparently was a challenge!
What do I do?
Help???
I don't know if this would work but do you have a leaf blower? Perhaps you can blow the granules off the plants and into the grass.
Toni
Now THEREs a thought! I've been outside with a wisk broom. Now if I can find the leaf blower...
Oh my word!!!!! You poor thing! Please wear a mask if that stuff is going to be blowing all around you, though. Would a vacuum work better?? One safe to use outside?? No telling where the leafblower may blow that stuff to... ugh.... best wishes to you. How frustrating for you....
(((((((hugs to you and your plants)))))))))
