Wow! What a fun project you have going there. Are you going to start a climber on that trellis?
I just love little tucked away treasures! - Christie

Woohoo! I see the arborvitae made it :) Very nice :)

Yep, I hafta admit that was THE perfect suggestion!

I'm planting a few myself this spring in those tight spots where I want evergreens, but a spruce just won't quite fit ;) Nice choice, Tammy. What are the other plants you put in?

Greenback, TN

bleeding hearts, heather and mini azaleas. I'm still rearranging thought cause I have astilbe and a fern too I want to fit first.

Very fun for you, Tammy :) I'm starting to get pumped about my spring plans. Also a bit nervous... I've never planted this much at one time before. Trying to be sensible and realistic... but it's so hard!!! LOL :) I was lining out the shape of another bed today with a garden hose. I had to keep shrinking the bed because I knew I was using up too much of the girls' play area. The bed outline is considerably smaller than when I first lined it today... hard to be so practical!!! LOL :)

Your plant choices sound nice. We'll look forward to seeing them :)

How's it coming with the new yard progress??? Have you had pretty days lately too??? Watching your thread to see if there are any more developments. I like to keep in touch with others getting new gardens established... helps me cope with my lack of plants :)

I added a few things to my "progress" thread yesterday and today. Very pretty weather & my Sis babysat, so we got a TON done :)

Hope things are well, take care...

hehehe thanks for remembering me. I Will update monday, we are hoping to really get alot of stuff done over the weekend, I have sat on my lazy throne this week due to allergies. :(

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Tammy - allergies here too. No sympathy from DS tho,

she sez: " you were finger raking dead leaves outta yur plants, stirring up pollens and dust and you wonder why your sneezing ??" LOL

waiting on update here too. Going over to Hugs thread now. ~Blooms

A few changes to my plan (of course). I moved the mini azaleas to another place and planted a few yellow foxglove, coleus and added a shepherd's hook to hang a fushia in the shady area. Over on the bright side I have a ton of lavender to spread down until it reaches the endless summer hydrangea in the corner. I'll post a pic in just a bit as I am still working on it...

It looks super Tammy, but I don't think its a secret anymore.

Oooh, Tammy :) How lovely! I really like the coleus and caladium in the 2nd pic. Is that a baby hosta you have there, too??? It will be fun to watch all your plants grow up :)

Greenback, TN

I know I'm having so much fun with them! Yep a baby hosta. :) I started a new corner today, my tropical corner. I will take pics through the season of it too. This is fun!

Springboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Yes, this IS fun :) Too fun, I'm afraid.... all my grass is turning in to future flower beds... LOL :) Can't wait to see the new area!!! BTW, do you know your hosta's name?

Greenback, TN

hostanus sisterinlawus from ohio. My husbands family sent so many things back with us last year - we don't have a clue what they are now that they are coming up. I'm just putting them where I want them once I get the general idea of what they are.

Springboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL -- cute, Tammy :) So nice to have family that gardens, isn't it?? I plan on bumming some bleeding heart and hosta from my mom when i plant the shade beds next Spring :) Looking good, Tammy :) You should be pleased!
