Rowboat, I heard was what they used normally! The canoes are just a back-up in case the rowboats sink!

Angela, Your cuttings went out Priority Mail today.

My cuttings are not looking as well as I wish they did. I put both of them in cups of soil to root as I have had better luck that way especially with somewhat green cuttings. After about a week they looked kinda shriveled so I pulled the biggest cutting out - no rot but no nubbies either. Currently I have him in a cup of water that I plan to change everyday and the other cutting in the soil.
Charlotteda, I've done it both ways and had better luck with putting them into fresh water each day to develop lots of nubbies before planting. (Also adding the H202 each time) But I'm having the same problem as you. Even in water the smaller skinnier cutting isn't looking good. So don't fret, don't give up...I've had nubbies come up later than a week or so before.
Julie
Thanks, how much H2O2 do you put in a big Dixie cup of water, I have the regular H202
I put a 1/2 tsp in like approx. 2 inch of water. I have some big fat cuttings that I'm doing this same way and the white roots are protruding out so well, it's time to put em' up. I'll do that tomorrow. :)
Good luck Charlotteda.

OMG where did you get that picture?! I thought I burned it after I woke up!! LOL
Oh Scooter that is the Happiness Fairy i use that on all my friends, are you sprinkling that expensive happiness dust LOL.
I Received my cuttings on Saturday, put them in a glass of water in the kitchen window and they have roots started already will probably plant them up next week.

Waiting for mine, trying to be patient since you were so patient with me. So excited!!
I love that pic. I printed it when I first saw it and put it on my fridge. Even on a bad day it makes me smile.
gifted with the mystical powers of being able to see... the big picture
I see 4 little paws clustered together with an arch in the back and the tail stiff, raised and slightly crooked as he enjoys the nice round kitty litter box which is warm from sitting in the sunny window. Filled with soft dark stuff that's easy to dig in and has a nice tall green umbrella overhead. With big dangling flowers.
Oh!OH 8 ft,~ than what!! ?
.... kick some potting soil out on the carpet while trying to cover his business. Jump down out of your favorite potted brug and see about climbing up your white, lace edged table cloth. Good way to clean the damp potting soil off his paws as well. :)
8ft,
BTDT !
you are too much ...lol
Cut a circle of chicken wire or hardware cloth to fit over top of that "round" Kittylitter box.
Scoot I got the cuttings today, just put them in water a few minutes ago. They look fantastic!! Now off to watch for nubbies.
Scoot, my cuttings were here when I got home last night. They look wonderful. Thanks again to you and Kell!
