Looks like I have enough for 17 people to each get 2 of Kells cuttings.

I picked 14 of you initally while trying to cover different parts of the country.

I think the box I'm using is $3.95 postage and add an extra $2.00 to cover Kells cost , my packing materials and delivery confirm tag.

Here is the list of recipients , If you do not want your cuttings let me know so someone else can have them.

Oh good you got them!!! I was hoping there would be more. Did they get there OK or were the limp???

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

OH, thank you!!!

How do you want the "Records" Kell...If you standardized what you want in which order, it might be easier to compile. What are you looking for in the way of observations?

I am assuming that Maya wants filtered sun during the hottest parts of the day...well draining soil and lots of water (but not soggy). We grow in cinder soil, so no problem.

Should we all use the SAME fertilizer? Same fertilizing program?

I am honored to be one of the lucky recipients....Thank you.

Kell....RK is growing awesomely!!!

Carol

This will be Great seeing how they do in different parts of the States & environment. I love this type of information and sharing. Your both great for taking the time and effort for doing this. Have fun everyone involved here. Kin

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Carol,

Blaine (8ftbed) & I will work on a printable form that we can all use.

( I just might have one already ) gotta go look for it.

Maya thrives in full sun in most zones.

Just grow her you own way , no rules there.

This will mostly be an observation group.

At the end of the Summer we can compare notes.

* Big TY to kell for donating the cuttings all from one plant , providing us with a level playing field.*

Kell I just took a guess that I have 28 cuttings, I only cleaned them up but have not cut them yet.

They came to after awhile in a cool tub of water.

If there are cuttings left over , I have the rest of the names that wanted some.

I swear ....... you 'Californie' women have your own style when it comes to packing plants.LOL

Reminded me of the boxes I've traded w/ MVR in the past.

want me to get the $$ in the mail now or wait until you are sure about everything? Can't wait!!

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

I, too, am honored to be one of the lucky recipients....Thank you!

I'll do the same and thank you for giving me an opportunity to participate in this experiment. I'm quite excited about it! Kell thank you :) Scooter, thanks for your hard work in taking on this process.

Good luck to everyone!

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Sarv48

Everyone on the list I posted above has cuttings reserved for them.

My snial mail addie is in DG Member Address Exchange.

I can also do PayPal

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

'Maya' I say thank you to all involved! Who knows, at the end of the season when all of the results and pics are posted, maybe it can be compiled into document. Anyone claiming book rights yet? :)

BTW - I think it was overlooked, but in the original thread Kell also suggested similar observation groups for 2 others because she was about to do some heavy pruning. Rosamond and someone else.

Someone want to stir those pots as well?
I don't have a Rosamond but sure see it's name bandied about alot!

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Go ahead Blaine.

I turned Kell's Rosamond offer down .

I have had some that look like her .I no longer do since I got on the Yellow/gold brug addiction.

On ward & Upward........... always making room for new brugs.

I'm sure you can get plenty of DG *subscribers* with young collections to sign up.

So go for it !

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I'll let someone else ramrod those. I decided a long time ago that organizing and coordinating things like this was not my forte and promised myself I'd never get into it again. I'd be stressing over every little detail, put way too much into it (including my own $$) and then feel personally responsible if any one has failures although it's out of my hands. I'll just participate and/or observe.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh Scoot, tell me it is not so..you dumped your pinks??? All or just PB/R????

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

I love my PB and Cupid's Blush . Those are the only older pinks I have.

Still waiting for the Europeon Pink Brug Fairie to land here tho.
