Variegated brugs

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

You saw mine...old aquarium gravel and some smooth decorative rocks. Worked great except on the last two cuttings that just won't root.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Yes ma'm I certainly did. :)
You know I've got an I.P. with buds and there's a sucker thats shot up, is straight and now almost as tall as the original cutting that has Y'd and budded. If I cut that off at the base and root it, will it continue grow as if from seed and closer to what could be used as a standard before Y'ng ?

Since it's snowing again, I'm thinking it could be my first bubbler attempt.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Yes, it will grow nice and straight. Make sure it has some woody look to it at the base, though. You know, tough skin. Those will root a lot faster. If it isn't to that point yet, I'd wait a while.

Donna, that Snowbank is stunning!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

sorry I didn't get back sooner.
I had Maya under florecent lights, now she is on a table in front of south window, she still has two leaves and I see small ones coming on. I love the looks of this little Brug. maybe one day I will be able to get asnother one.

Thanks for the compliments on Snowbank. Sure wish I could find a supplier for Miner's Claim. Donna

Donna, your Snowbank's blooms are the nicest ones I've seen. Did you get a lot of shoots off the main trunk last year? It looks like it was loaded with growth.

Northeast, WA(Zone 5a)

Great picture Donna, beautiful blooms. Kell mentioned the little leaves coming up the trunk. Now, what will those do? Or will you take them off? How tall is the plant?

All cuttings have been spoken for . Thank You

re: cuttings

OK all y'all ,

I'll not post until the box gets here and I see how many cuttings I will have.

FYI , I have a paypal account for those that would rather do it that way.

What wonderful photos, and what a great opportunity! Thank you for sharing.

BTW, I just received a shipment with orchids and passis, and they arrived quite healthy, even after sitting on my back steps through the day and most of the evening.

Thanks you for the compliments on Snowbank. Actually I didn't do anything with the little growths on the trunk, they are still there. I knew my gh would be bulging this time of year so didn't try to get any cuttings. Will try later when i can move things out of the gh and have room. DonnaS

What a GREAT treat seeing all of these wonderful photos. I love the variegated foliage. I does so much to brighten up a shady area. I really love the way Snowbank looks. Thanks for posting that it burns easily, Scoot. I am new to Brugs so I am trying to learn which are best for sun or shade.
