The benifits of Hydrogen peroxide and plants

Abbottstown, PA(Zone 6a)

I was doing some research on Hydrogen Peroxide and this is a wonderful site to check out.. Tells you how to get rid of root rot and has some very informative information on HP. Please check it.

Thankyou! vw

That's the best explanation for the Hydrogen Peroxicide FAQs that I have seen. Sounds like a miracle 'drug' for plants, too, doesn't it! I've got to get some today.

Thanks for posting it.

I made me up several gallons of it to water my plants and spritz them with. Just remember to keep out of direct light. I need to get me more also. I think 1 pint makes about 3 -4 gallans.

Hi So Cal
I use the store bought streangth, 3%....

vicki, I put 1/2 cup in a gallon jug and fill with almost warm water. Since HP comes in a brown bottle I just mix what I need everyday.
I have Brugs rooting in it and use the left over to tend my other seedlings.
Also found it for 39 cents at Big Lots.

Sugarweed, thanks for letting me know that,, I think it was 8tbls to a gallon I was using. Yours sounds more right so I will change that the next time I mix the solution.

Can you overdose a plant with peroxide? I'm afriad I'll get the dosage wrong and bubble my plants to death, LOL.

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

I'm sure there is some point it gets too concentrated, but if you're not awake or have drank too much, don't mess with your plants. ;>)

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Hehe- I'm too poor to drink! :-))
Never really awake though..hmm. Maybe I should go check on my plants.
:-O
