As you may have read, I'm hosting another garden party/plant swap in May. Yes, of course, you're all invited!! People are travelling from several states to stay a few days with me. We've turned it into a 3-day event!

Anyway, I need some ideas on contests or games to win door prizes. I have a lot of neat garden items to give away as door prizes. But I wanna make it fun. Do y'all have any suggestions? How were door prizes won at other parties you've been to?

At the last party I hosted, if you brought chocolate anything (plant or food), you got a door prize. The person who drove the fartherest (in miles) got a prize. The person who drove the longest (in minutes) got a door prize. And oddly enough, those two can actually end up going to two different people, depending on navigational abilities. LOL The person who has gardened in the most states won a prize. Can you think of any fun and funny reasons to award a door prize?

Thanks for any suggestions you guys have.

nancyann - this may sound dumb but at some weddings you can win the table setting if you have the most keys on your key ring.
