I've heard about it, but still don't understand it. I'd like to hear your opinions on whether you think it is relevant to garden design. And if there really is such a thing. Seems like I can find it change often during the day...
I ask this because I'd like to get the 'waft' of my favorite fragant plants going in the 'right' direction, so to speak. If I had my druthers, I'd love to have a walled garden as in England, but since this isn't possible, I'm trying for a 'garden room'. If anyone's has any ideas here, I'd be very glad to hear it.
Prevailing Wind?
Violabird, my understanding is prevailing wind is the general direction that most wind comes from where you're located, but I'm no meteorologist! Most of my wind and weather comes out of the northwest. I'd also love to have one of those dream gardens with walls and perfect herbacious borders I see on TV, often they are in England. Very unlikely for me where I live but dreaming is good. Good luck with yours!
