last one i'll bore you with today. :-D a white tiger lily from a mix also.
can anyone tell me the difference in the tigers that bloom early as these do here, (the white, yellow and then the orange buds you can see) about the first of july and the other orange that grow right beside these but don't blossom for another 30 days.
thanks

All of those are so pretty!!

I ordered Tom Pounce last month and can't wait to see it bloom (hopefully this year)!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

LOL I don't think this 'tom' pounces. It's Pouce.

Very pretty lilies, Debi.

Central, KY(Zone 6b)

LOL, only pounces if it was Tom "Cat" right??? OK, Tom Pouce (happy now???). I'm glad I had just swallowed my mouthful of cranberry juice or I'd have an icky mess : )

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I'd be happy if I could have seen that icky mess! lol

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

LOL sadie, pouce in Dutch is a cat, so it is Tom Cat!! You were right and you 'didn't even know it!!!'

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Kooger, you're just so danged smart!

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

In French it is "thumb"....so it would be Tom Thumb.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

in okie talk , would be Tom Pudy
we love our pudy cats here ?

Central, KY(Zone 6b)

Thanks for backing me up Kooger : )

See Moby, I wasn't wrong....just bilingual ; )

You ladies are up past my bedtime!!! Tazzy - are you feeling any better?

Moerkerke_Damme, Belgium(Zone 7b)

Am me as european saying Mary's right, It's 'Tom Pouce'
give me some cranberries too, my mother told me not to speak with a mouth full! LOL

Poor Patty, did you catch a cold at the naked ladies thread again :)
What is wrong with you, it ain't summer dear!! You just got to be patient, before running out naked like that. Did you forgot how the naked lily ended up!
Calm down, sit by your stove covered by a thick blanket and a nice hot cup a thé. You'll be better in no time.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

LOL with all of you! :)

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

I may live to shoot off my mouth another day ?
But feel to bad to care right

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Willoughby, OH(Zone 5a)

I can't believe I have been a member of Daves Garden for over a year and only discovered the lily forum this week! Was I BLIND!!!! These pics are Lovely-been drooling over all the threads and posted photos!
I was wonderinf if any of you have purchased lily bulbs from" robynsgardens"
on ebay. The prices seem very good and her feedback is good also. Should I risk it?
Gail

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

So glad you found us, golgi!

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

welcome Gail, so glad you 'found' us!

I am no help on the ebay seller, sorry.

I have daffodils, hyacynth, crocus, and naked ladies popping up everywhere; even one of my peonies is about 1inch tall right now, but no lilies yet!

Here is Sydney an asiatic, a big beautiful bloom.

Sydney is quite a beauty! Can't wait to see your lilies in bloom, lilyfan. You're not far enough away to keep me out. Besides, I owe myself at a least a couple peeks at your garden since you've already seen mine.

golgi--Welcome & beware--lillium fever lurks here....

Johnston, IA(Zone 5a)

Hey Sue, I found a warm looking lily for such a blustery cold Iowa day. It's called 'Spanish Sunset'. Iowaron

Here's another; L. auratum Gold band Lily of Japan

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Iowaron--that ones lovely too! you know, you and llilyfan are the reason I had to tear up my gardens last fall & have to dig even more this spring. Oh, and Teresa's incredible gardens....

Oh, I haven't seen schedule for my stint at the Lily Society bulb sale next weekend. Any news? I'm coming up early Saturday & staying Sunday.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Let me know what the schedule is too!

Johnston, IA(Zone 5a)

Wanda and Mary, I'll know more tomorrow afternoon. I'll get in touch with you then and give you the low down. It's gonna be GREAT!!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Cool! I hope to be there.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

lucky girls

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, lucky girls!

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

I want Spanish Sunset! Drooling big time here!

Wanda,

I've already warned you that I dug everything up last fall so nothing will be lush this year, we'll have to figure out a good weekend for the tour!

I know I work on Friday from 1 to 3, but I have no idea what 's up with Sunday!
I'll see iowaron and anahi in about 9 hours and should know the scoop then!

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

Very Lucky, indeed!!! Wonderful pictures, thanks for sharing!!!

Welcome, Golgi. You will become addicted very quickly if you hang around here for long.... lol... and BTW, I have made a couple of purchases from robynsgardens. I have been very happy with them. I received quality plants that bloomed first year. They shipped when they said they would and the quality surpassed the pictures shown on the auction.

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Delivered some school logo clothes to a cousin's (too small for DS) today. She had a box of perennials someone had given her. Also included was a bag of Lollipop lilies! I talked her out of 3 nice sized bulbs!! Yippee!! (Bet there was close to a dozen in that bag so she didn't mind sharing.)

Willoughby, OH(Zone 5a)

Thanks so much for the welcome folks! All these pictures have already done the job on me and I have purchased three times the amount of lily bulbs than I had last year! AND it's only March.Trying out "Mona Lisa" and "monte Christo" for the first time and debi_z, I am really lusting after "Tom Pouce"!
I think lilies are incredibly rewarding for so little effort.

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

Way to go, Kooger!!! ... ;)

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

lol

edit: welcome to the lily forum, golgi. So much beauty for so little work! I'll feed your Tom Pouce addiction for you..... :)
