I would like to hear FROM EXPERIENCE how much cold it can possibly take . TIA :)
What is the farthest North that anyone has seen Hibiscus Mutabilis grow ?
Don't know just how far North they live but my book says they are hardy in zones 9-7, I know there are lots of them around Atlanta.
I have tried them here before ( and failed ) so I think I need to find a hardier source ...I need THE one freak plant that has managed to survive /adapt where others have failed . Hibiscus coccineus , H.syriacus , and H. moscheutos all perform very well here .
