Anyone out there ever planted Amarylis seed? How long did it take for the plant to mature and bloom? Planting depth?
Bloom season zone 7? I really love this flower, but I am a novice with it. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

I planted some in the greenhouse during the winter. They are about four inches high now. I just about covered the seed and put a plastic lid over to retain the humidity. Happppy Toessss...That would make me positively happy toed too. I don't nee a ton, but a dozen or so would be nice. I can wait.
