An elderly gentleman stopped by the house yesterday. Said he an his wife are moving to Florida and have admired our gardens over the years. He pulled out a box from the back seat and it was filled with 4 years of Horticulture Magazine from 1980 - 1984; thought we might like them :) How sweet of him! I told him that we too are preparing for a move, but I might have friends at DG who would want them. He said he hopes another gardener will have them :)
I'd be happy to send them to anyone who might like them :)
Horticulture Magazine - back issues
Hi...I just can't pass up gardening magazines. I wonder what the postage would be? I live in Maryland too. Zip 21675. If you could give me your zip and the weight of the magazines I could look it up.
Peg
Just email me your addy and the mags will be there shortly :)
Dea and Chesapeke--If the postage doesn't work out for you, I'll be glad to take them. Just send me an email with your address and I'll send you some postage money.
That was awfully nice of that man and you must have a very attractive garden Dea...you must be happy thinking that he has been admiring your garden all these years..what a lovely thought! and now you're moving! I hope it's somewhere with a lovely garden too!
Take care. t.
I would love to have some also if there are any left. I don't mind supplying you with the postage if you let me know how much it is.Thank you.
JesseK
I'll email Chesapeake to see if she still wants them, if not, I'll just split them between tabasco and JesseK. No postage necessary folks :)
Thanks Dea.
JesseK
