We were blessed with about 60' and sunny here today and I got out my trusty wheel barrow and a few tools and scratched around outside. The soil is still too wet too do much but I picked up some rocks that needed moving and pulled out several loads of a noxious weed I call duck weed. I don't really know what it is but it creeps along the ground and makes a tangled mass and is impervious to temps near zero. A few hours out in the fresh air and sunshine were a tonic and just makes me want to get my peas in the ground and chit some seed potatoes.
Hooray, I worked out in the garden today!
I pulled and pulled duckweed too, but haven't made a dent as it's taken over my entire yard :( But wasn't it beautiful out? I have some Daffs that should open in the next few days, YES!
Violabird, those daffs will be glorious. All I have are green tips sticking up, no sign of any buds yet.
