Oh, yuck, I wouldn't want that stick! :P
There was a guy on Conan O'Brien who had auctioned off body space for advertising tattoos. He now has a business and website: http://livingadspace.com He drew the line at some requests, like one potential customer who said he wanted a picture of a man's *ahem-ahoohoo* tattood on the guy's forearm.
Ebay - Strange findings - Post em' here:
ok - Had to do some more weird searching:

Believe it or not.
Wow! Moda, that girls auction is nothing short of prostitution, don't ya think?
I'm always so amazed at some peoples creative imagination and even more that there are many out there that actually bid.
Well the girl w/ the personal alarm clock auction got terminated by Ebay. Guess someone must've reported it.
Some of these bogus ones should get a token bid... be interesting for the jokesters to get their fees refunded! >;-)~
I thought to myself too that the one with the "personal Alarm clock" seemed like prostitution.
P.T. Barnum would be so proud.

Regarding the insulting listing with the girl's photo...Sheesh, what a creep. The seller has a female name, the catty snip.
Edited to clarify which post of Buriedtreasure's I was referring to - we cross-posted! :)

How do you find these weird auctions anyways.
their stupid LOL
kathy
One's never lacking in entertainment when one can access eBay! There's weird sub-categories under the category "everything else"...
Slightly unusual: http://everythingelse.listings.ebay.com/Weird-Stuff_Slightly-Unusual_W0QQfromZR8QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsacatZ1467QQsocmdZListingItemList
Really weird: http://everythingelse.listings.ebay.com/Weird-Stuff_Really-Weird_W0QQfromZR8QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsacatZ1468QQsocmdZListingItemList
Totally bizarre: http://everythingelse.listings.ebay.com/Weird-Stuff_Totally-Bizarre_W0QQfromZR8QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsacatZ1469QQsocmdZListingItemList
How about a chicken nugget that looks JUST LIKE JAY LENO: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1467&item=5558943891&rd=1 LOL
It must be like watching clouds.
I don't see Jay Leno in that nugget.
Ya know....that mystery envelope is really neat, I am watching on my ebay!
I'm actually having fun with that one too.
Did you see that the mystery envelope is now up to $1,400 - makes we want to stuff an envelope of my own LOL, perhaps I could just stuff one with all our bills and see what happens LOL!
YOu're looking at the copy cat envelope.
The original is over $5500
Chris
wow, will they ever divulge what they got for that????
I just looked at it and it's at $7200 with a little over 4 hours left.
I've been trying to figure out a way to find out what was in the envelope too. The auction listing has a radio station listed, because they've been following it. I can't remember where it was though. I'm wondering if anyone lives in the listening area of that radio station that could find out for us.
I just looked the radio station up on the auction listing. Anyone live in this area?
"Stay tuned to the morning show at 99.9 KTYD in Santa Barbra, Ca"
Well, the envelope is sold. Take a look at some of the other things the buyer has purchased, and how much he paid for them!

I heard on the radio the day people sell clean urine on e-bay. Druggies who need to take a test for parole, etc, buy it so they can pass the test. It hit the news when some well knowm person got caught doing it. I can't remember who it was.
Bernie
It's pretty ingenious for the buyer. Because they're an off-shore internet casino company, they can't buy ad space on the radio, tv, or print media. For $7,600.00 they have every radio station in the country talking about them. Not a bad deal.
Interesting concept for advertising, but what do you think the enveloped consisted of?
Aaaaargh! One of the envelope-winning casino's winning bids: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=317&item=5952593222
They seem to be big into the body advertising thing, here's 4 more!

Oh, wow...I started reading more about the "Frank Must Die" auction for the bumpersticker (another of the casino's winning bids). The family refused the bid. http://www.thebakersfieldchannel.com/family/4080434/detail.html The great news, the boy had the brain surgery and

Thanks so much for going farther on that one! I was really praying the little guy had the surgery and good results! Loved the 'Frank Is Dead!" slogan.
edit: after reading those 2 sites, I thought I'd google it and here's another article from CNN.
http://www.cnn.com/2005/HEALTH/conditions/02/15/frank.tumor.ap/ The tumor was found to be no longer cancerous!

Isn't it great? I just read a news story from February 17, and it looks like the family did accept the Casino's money, but turned around and donated it to a charity: http://www.zwire.com/site/tab1.cfm?newsid=13981732&BRD=2553&PAG=461&dept_id=506035&rfi=6 I like that they didn't give the casino credit in the article. ;)
He must be an exceptional little guy. I read on one site where he gave away most of his 'Make-
a-Wish Foundation' gift!
David's going to be on Ellen tomorrow (4:00pm EST - check your local listings).
This might be a stupid question, but who is David?
JesseK
Guess it does seem a bit out of context! David's the boy in the last few links we posted.
That is what I thought be wasn't sure. I'm so glad that he is doing so well now. I just hate it when all of the little ones have to go through so much. I'm glad that he can just be a kid again.
JesseK
Hmmmm. Not sure what's worse. The fact that his ex-wife is auctioning off a date with him, or that the high bid is under 2 bucks.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=88433&item=5560105994
Good grief.
What I can't believe is that this other idiot actually bid on it.
JesseK
UNBELIEVABLE!!
lol... TuttiFrutti just caught me perusing the links provided and commented 'ya know, this is just like reading the National Enquirer in the grocery stand'... hehe...
