Dave's Garden t-shirts?

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

OK WHO ratted me out? lol

As penance,
if they have Dave's Garden Bonnets, one for the little Munchkin is on me!

(Notice I was smart enough to bring the hat issue up first.)

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Come the warm weather, I'm hard pressed to do anything with sleaves. Anyone for a tank top?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Henry!

Hey that might be fun too Moby!

Dave, are you insane yet?

Hope, BC(Zone 7a)

I think you should make t-shirts and we can do a poll of which picture to put on it!! I'd buy a few... Maybe have a thread "DG's shirt picture contest" and we could sumbit our own pictures and vote on who's is best for the front of the shirt?

Crossville, TN

I want Shoe on mine...LOL

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

What Jo 2 big feet with purple toenails? lol

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Hah! NO COMMENT!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Tank tops! Great idea!

Will I be able to get one before Spring arrives Dave?

PS - there is a woman in my MG group and I I hear is GW this GW that!!! Grrr!! I want my DG shirt!!!

Nicole

Crossville, TN

NO TANK TOPS for me...fat, flabby arms! LOL Jo

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

I have those too, Jo but still wear sleeveless tees and tank tops because I get so danged hot!

Edited to say I believe if someone doesn't like what they see, they can look elsewhere, LOL.

I'd love to buy a couple T-shirts! However, I'm with Ursula... I need about a 3XL, and that may not be possible. I know that the cost of having T-shirts made up is much cheaper the larger the quantity. You'd be hard-pressed to sell all those huge T-shirts unless you could sell them for hammocks!

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

Teriffic idea!! I'm interested!! Can't wait!

Weezin...I LOVE those big Tee's...they are my favorite sleepware....and the one I have now is so threadbare that I have been threatened by dd if I don't throw it away! (It's hidden!) LOL Jo

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I too love those big t-shirts. I would most likely buy a couple of those too. One for sleeping in, and one for working in the garden.

The thing about wearing those big shirts working outside is you can use them to carry things too. I've been known to carry a LOT of garden veggies from the garden to the house by using the front of my shirt as a basket.

Yucaipa, CA(Zone 9a)

Using the front of your T-Shirt as a basket!!--What an inspired idea!!

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

If you wear my size, you can carry the whole garden in it! LOL!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Weeze, don't feel bad. Every year I can carrry less and less in my shirt basket, and I know it's not because the shirt is shrinking. LOL

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

LOL!

Palmyra, IL(Zone 5b)

color-green,grey,dirt brown or tie dye-really cool for special;
not in the garden lol.well maybe like tye dye

light weight-not to hot please
my 2 cents worth

....just waiting to hear more from Dave and Terry...like what will they look like, what will they cost and where can I buy me one or more!!! :-)))

They will have the old flower logo. :)

dave

Crossville, TN

YIPEE!!! Jo

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

YEAH!!! We LOVE the "old" Logo!

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I'm standing in line with money in hand!

A suggestion for others wanting multiple styles - just get mutiple t's in different sizes and let the scissors create your scoop neck, tank top, muscle shirt, or what have you.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Heh, heh! You don't know me and scissors. I'd have a scoop neck down to my navel...NOT a pretty sight!

Seattle Burbs, WA(Zone 8b)

Count me in!

Castlegar, BC(Zone 6b)

Great, I like the "old Logo" better.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Old logo? YES!!!

Richmond, VA(Zone 7a)

For colors, the lighter, the better. Nothing worse then being in the garden with a dark colored tee shirt and burn up. I'd love a light sage green - anything pale to reflect the sun. XL for me too!

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

I don't think a pale green would do the lovely flowers justice - perhaps a light toast/tan color? I'd still like to see a warm earth color, but I can see where the darker color might bother some. I'm sure Dave will come up with just the right solution! (It's exciting guessing, though, isn't it?)

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Ah, here I can use all the heat I can get! Black, dark green, dark brown... mine will end up that color anyway! How about plain old white.. would that work for everyone?

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Yeah, right Weezi! then I can look like Ms. Piggy and the Goodyear Blimp at the same time - LOL! (WHITE?? For about 15 minutes!)

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Hey, all I know is HURRY UP with 'em T-SHIRTS already!! Spring is fast (I hope) approaching and I want some goodies - oh, and a HAT!

I would really love to show up to some of my gardening classes with a DG shirt on!!!

Nicole

Sequee - yep, white for 15 minutes or less! I had on a white shirt yesterday and my 2 dogs dispatched that to brown/hair covered in less than 15. I didn't even wear it in the yard either!

Well, the shirts probably won't be offered until this Summer. We're thinking August right now.

dave

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

fine fine fine

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

Geez .. here I wuz thinkin' .. that, in all likelyhood .. we've all .. 'felt' like we looked like the proverbial Mr or Ms. Piggies and a Goodyear Blimp or two - - when we were busy tendin' & tinkerin' in our gard/yardens !!!
.. LOL ..

I'm with Weezins .. on both counts! Give me plenney room and the somewhat darker shades! .. At least a couply of the 3X's .. and the darker the better!! . . . One fer work while cultivating the soil, and one for cultivating the Zzzz's too!

Ahh, heck .. anothurn fer 'dress up' and other spayshall days too I reckon . . .

Ohh fer loyalty and patron sake! ... I reckon as long as Dave sees fit to manage to please some o'da folks some o'da time ...

* .. happy 'late' birt-day Weezins .. (sorry) for missin' it ..

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh, Nicole I hear ya! It was gorgeous here yesterday so I left the back door opened for the kitties and tethered PekeBoo to the back door so he could play outside, too. His regular area is still under a foot of snow, so this was the best I had to offer. Well, the dumb dog managed to find the snowiest, coldest, muddiest part of the "play" area to "swim" in and promptly can in and jumped on my lap! White leggings, pink sweatshirt! (Not anymore!) Grrr.

Well, thank you for waiting until August, Dave - I'm sure I'm going to be a size smaller by then! (LOL...sadly LOL!)

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Well, if I get past 3XL, you'd better start offering moo moos! 8ft. would like that, too, I'll bet! LOL!

Hi, Magpye! My size will probably cost more, but look at the extra advertising DG gets with those big shirts... kinda like the 'Hollywood' sign!

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Dave, when you do offer the t-shirts, could you send us all an email about it, or post it on the home page so we don't miss it?

Yes, we'll make sure everyone knows about it!
