Dave's Garden t-shirts?

Has anyone ever considered printing any Dave's Garden t-shirts? I for one would like to have a couple. I'm not sure how anyone else feels. It's just an idea.
Maybe a cute little gardening picture or cartoon with Dave's Garden on it and then the URL.

Great idea! We've been lucky enough to have our talented members make them every year for our GARU's, they kinda get outdated quick. How about a whole line of stuff? C'mon Dave, we want to celebrate your wonderful garden!

Oh I would love one,(or 2) mine are all stained up. Before when we had them Trish did the emblem on them. I know she has no time for that anymore. But just printed up ones would be great. I would buy them.

I actually have some bids out right now for quotes on prices for screen printed DG t-shirts (complete with the new logo!) We're going to offer them in celebration of our upcoming 5 year anniversary! :) They'll probably be around $12 each.

Woo Hoo! We'll need three here... for me, SO1, and his son (yup, the son just chirped up that he wants one, too)! On second thought, I might need two for myself... one for gardening, and one for advertisement. ;)

Hold it... they'd also make great Christmas gifts! I have four siblings with spouses, a dozen or so nieces and nephews...

Hey, how about kids' sizes, too?

Will they be darker colors so they won't
show the dirt? Will there be more than
1 design/color. Could you do something
similar to the "Plays in the Dirt" T-shirts,
only with a small logo of yours added?

I like the ones that say, "plays in the dirt". I think that would be a great idea.

How ccol would that be? I just returned from Atlantic City - I do alot of touristy things. I think it would be so cool to be in Boston, or NYC, etc, etc and be able to spot DGers from a distance! YES!

Not to bring up the "N" word again, but wouldn't it be cool to go to a NASCAR race and run into a zillion DG tee shirt?

Count my family in. We'd need adult and kid's sizes. It would be great if there were a couple of styles. Some are just too close to the neck for me. I need my space! Ball caps would be good too and what about tote bags? Margaret

I suspect Dave plans to start "small" (in terms of offerings) and see how the actual ordering goes...watch for Monday's pollbooth question.

Terry, how about having the T-shirts made according to the orders (incl. $$$$ and size indication) received? That way Dave would not have a stock to get rid of.

Atlantic City is 30 minute's from where I live and Year's ago (early 90's) I worked at the Claridge Hotel!

Oh Yea, I would LOVE a DG shirt , Hat, or what ever Dave decides to offer!!!

I'd really like a hat... soft crown. Too many pre-cancerous skin thingys removed every year so a hat is a necessity.

How funny! my sister was born in Cape May Courthouse! There's someone else @ DG from there also. can't remember her name off the top of my head, though I do recall she said she was leaving DG last fall. Guess she did, eh? I'll have to look her up in my notes!

I will definitely let you know next time I'm out that way. We lived in North Cape May for years when I was growing up! Way before the Ferry and all the other "progress". My parents and I went on a drive the year before my dad died. It was such fun finding the old houe, etc. Even Daddy had trouble finding some of the old landmark's, but the house looked the same. Even our old playhouse was still in the back yard!

I definately need a DG shirt! I am thinking black or white would be great for RUs. LOL

Hubby went to Arizona a few years ago and came home with the cutest shirts for the girls. They said Arizona Dirt Dudettes on them and were actually a red clay sort of color as they had been dyed with native soil. Those would be great for garden things and plant things so dirt stains wouldn't show so bad.

Maybe not a popular thought, but once the design is unveiled, maybe we could pre-order and pre-pay. That way DG is not stuck with a surplus and out a bunch of plant money. :) That way we could be sure there would be enough to go around and then Dave would know how much excess to order.

Don't start too small, should be some 2X & 3X in there.

Need tall sizes also!

Extra Large must be on the agenda? and a base ball cap or large strw hat would be great too.

I agree -- 2x and 3x. We're dieting and Howie's lost 85lbs, but we still both like shirts to fit loosely.

There are also some of us S, M, & Ls too. I want a ladies large or men's medium and 1 3x or 4x.
