Need ideas for a new windmill garden

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Because I have a new 8 ft tall steel windmill, and it is a perfect excuse for a new garden! So, I need to get ideas, see pictures and all that kind of good stuff.

I know you said it has a working propeller blade and directional blade. It would be cute if you gould rig up a piston kinda apparatus down the center and make it appear it was aerating a new fish pond below and just to the side of it.

I like that idea, thanks.

I want one of those windmills,Mary, Harbor Freight had one for like $30 and I even got a raincheck for it but never did go get it. My hubby would like a life size one. When visiting relatives in OK a few years ago, I saw lots of em and wanted to ask about getting one for him. A neighbor not far has just the tower part, think I should ask him if he would sell it? I went to google and did a search on Fairbury windmills and was amazed at what I found.

The best old working windmills (still many around) were the aeromotors.

Joanne, go for it! Wouldn't that be a neat gift if you could buy the windmill tower and then locate the works and give him the whole (haul it himself) package! With all his talents he would have that up and working real quick.
