Take pictures of your loved pets with any kind of Christmas theme or what ever holiday you celebrate. Enter as many times as you want. In case of a tie, we will have a run off vote. There will be first and second place winners with prizes.
Contest will run from now until Sunday, January 2nd 10AM to give everyone time to get some good shots! Then we all will vote on the picture we most enjoyed.
The prize will be a framed picture that Loretta, Shadowgirl has done. It is very lovely!
NOT THE PRIZE LOL. Change of frames, the other picture had a mishap this morning so Loretta has made 2 new ones with better frames! The dark one is mahogany wood with a velvet backing and can also sit on a table. It is a beauty! A 11x 14 frame.
And the second place prize is the ligter frame and it really complements the brug picture. It is brushed nickel with a black velvet back, 8 x 10 print.
Since I can't change the posted picture, please look below for the new prize pictures. THANKS!!
If you are in another country and mailing these would not be feasible, I bet we could come up with some real pink brug seeds for you if your pet wins.

Your Pet and Christmas Picture Contest!!
I'm impressed also with the "santa giraff ornaments" in the first picture. Lanny poses quite well.
Thanks Sugarweed. I have a series of those ornaments that I collected 20 years ago from the Franklin Mint, called Noah's Ark. There is a male and female dressed for Christmas of each species, and I try to hang the "couples" together.
That's was a very good collection. Of course I love Lanny too, but Henry laughed at him.
Henry has no idea of his dress-up session yet. He won't be laughing then.lol
Gretchen,Lanny is just beautiful-what a cute little face & looks so lovely in her pretty sweater,a winner for sure!Did you make her sweater?
Colie -- thank you! No, I just bougt it at the pet store earlier in the season. She usually wears doggie sweatshirts in the cool weather, but I bought this one for "special" occasions. I had told my Mother about it and she wanted to see a picture, so I put it on her this morning for that purpose. Lanny loves to "dress up" even if its only a bandana which DH calls her "necklace". She gets all excited and jumps into the chair for me to put her necklace on her, when she sees me pick it up. Too cute!
(;>)
That is so sweet.
She knows she is a doll baby.
Do we vote on this post?

Oh Gretchen......Lanny is adorable with or without her sweater. Where do you live again????? I think she wants to come visit me.....lol.
Thank you, Frannie... oh, and she does love road trips!
Oh how I wish my kittie were still a kittie right now! Hard to get him in cute shots anymore, but will try to keep the camera handy - occassionally he's in need of a brain transplant and does really strange things - he has a real fettish for wrapping paper so the pic may be taken on Christmas morning.
Kell - what fun you are!!! You sure keep our creative juices flowing!!!
This is going to be a tough one since mine don't like to pose for me lol.
What pray tell is the incentive for the rest of us to post our pictures when it is obvious to me that Lanny is going to WIN, has to win, too adorable not to win!!!!
Collie, I'm sure if this is like the last contest Kell had, she will have a voting thread after all the pictures are in and the contest is closed. Keep you eyes open for that thread.
The first prize is the dark one in mahogany wood with a velvet backing and it can also sit on a table or hang on a wall. It is a beauty! A 11x 14 frame.
And the second place prize is the ligter frame and it really complements the brug picture. It is brushed nickel with a black velvet back, 8 x 10 print.
THANKS LORETTA!

Sorry for the confusion on the prizes, ya'll !!!! I hope some of the new people or those that have been too shy to get involved in the past will enter the contest. Posting on a forum when you're new is a little scary. At least it was for me and shy is not a word many would use to describe me. LOL This contest is a perfect way to introduce yourself and show off your pets. Please join in to make our contest more fun, the more the merrier!!!!
Loretta
Is'nt Shadow just so cute. You shoud shoot him against a blizzard! lol Did Shadow get embarrassed?
Gretchen, your Lanny is a real looker in that new sweater :)
Vi -- Shadow's a beautiful dog!
Pam -- I'm laughing so hard I can barely type! You're the winner!!!!!!! How'd you get all that stuff on your kitty??? Absolutely hysterical!!!
Thank you -- you know if I'd tried to take the pix for this contest, it never would've happened. It almost didn't as it was. She hates the flash, I guess. She's a cutie, for sure...
Deb, she is so cute. I hope you are all getting along really well.
Pam your little Rudolph is adorable. LOL!
Shadow and Lanny are great subjects for the camera too. This one will be hard to judge.
Now that is one sweet photo. I love it! Harley looks like he's been doing that all his life! Jack Russell isn't he? Very handsome and well behaved too. I think you have a winner there, nightowl2!
Oh my god, they all are so cute! What a riot to bring your dog to Santa!
They are all so good! I need to chase my cats a few times around the house to get some.
Lily, Misty is precious. Please keep her photos coming.
Lanny and Misty are so cute.
Kell, all the pet stores in town have a day to bring your pet in to get photographed either with Santa, or Mrs. Claus or at one store, in a Santa sleigh. All the proceeds go to support the local SPCA. I think it's a wonderful idea.
TY Shirley and Gretchen. My kitty was being such a good sport :)....
Waterloo - Misty is just too cute!
Ruth,Shadow sure is a handsome lad.
night,Harley is a real cutie & you can tell he has been a good boy in deed-looks like he & Santa are real good pals :)
If I tried to put stuff like that on my kitty cat, he would scratch me pretty bad! They are all adorable.
Oh my...they are all precious! Love Misty... I'm such a sucker for cute and fluffy, especially puppies!!! Come on everyone else -- post your pics!
Pam your Kitty is to funny. poor mistreated thing lol. How on earth did you get it to sit still with the costume on? Mine would go bouncing off the walls.
Donna -- that has to be one very laid back cat!
