Ornament Exchange Thank You's and Pic's
dear chelsea aka brandnewgirl133,
thank you so much for the wonderful christmas wreaths. they were the first ones i put on my tree today. Did you make them?
folks chealsea made (?) me 2 wreath oranaments from beads. one has round red beads with silver beads, let me try to describe them, the are like the inside of a paddle boat wheel, you have the round wheel on the inside and then there are round flat disks running horizontally around the outside of the wheel. the beads are strung one red, one silver, one red etc..... then it is joined in a circle and a silver cord is attached for hanging. the other is with green instead of red beads. with all those shiny sides on the beads, they reflect the light off the tree, so they are quite dazzling.
my dh took the camera to work, so i'll have to get a picture of them when he brings it home.
thank you chelsea. i love christmas ornaments and i'm grateful to add these to my collection.

jan,
thank you for the opportunity to join in this exchange. earlier today i hung the ornaments from last years exchange.
debi z
They sound beautiful and I can't wait to see pictures. I love hand-made ornaments and had my kids make them when they were little. We hung them every year and wore them out. In another year or two the grandkids should be ready to make some. I wonder what new and interesting stains we'll make on the kitchen table :)
cheryl,
as i was doing my ornaments i of course am putting up the little pieces of paper that my grandbabies cut out, drew a picture on, and then we put a piece of ribbon through to hang on the tree. they bring a smile to my face each time i hang them. i also have some from my girlfriends children who are now grown and they are pressious to me too. :)
hanging the ornaments is a trip down memory lane.
i received my ornaments from EskieLeia on friday. she sent 5 lace ornaments. 2 snowflakes, a heart, a dove, and a two red candy canes that were crossed with a candy cane going through the middle. they are beautiful. thanks alot for the wonderful ornaments. belinda

Diane (Honibee) What a cool ornament!!! Thank you so much!
Wish I could post a picture--but no camera!! It will occupy a place of honor on my tree!
My daughter's married name is Sell-kind of confused me when I read your name on the package--thought the mailman put it in my box by mistake!! As you can see-doesn't take much to confuse me-haha!
Again, Thank you and I hope you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Jeanette

tazzy =patty
Tazzy, I will check and see whats up. There seems to be a rash of no response. Not Cool. We all want to hear whether or not our Christmas Thoughts have reached their destination. Please all respond with a thank you.

I think the mail is really slow right now. Someone sent me a box of Cactus on Saturday, priority mail, and it's still not here! So maybe we just need to be a little more patient than usual though it's killing me, too! I'm dying to see if my "mystery" person likes hers!
Nothing yet on this end to my sender. I agree, the snail mail is living up to it's name. Patience everyone. That's why I suggested the first week in December.
My pkg is on its way! I hope my tradee likes it.
Cathy
Yeahhhhh!!! A beautiful surprise was waiting for me right after I got home from chemo yesterday. It SO helped to make my day brighter.
Thank you so much, Willowwasp (Dee), for the four (yes 4) great ornaments and card. She sent a great "Think Snow" plaque that is on my wall now, and three great garden themed ornaments. One is a cute bell in the shape of a watering can and a robin (I think) on top. The second is a small birdhouse windchime, and the third (my favorite) is a terra cotta flower pot made into a decorative birdhouse with a tin top. It's just too cute!
Sorry I don't have pictures now. I've got to get that dd of mine to show me how to transfer pictures from her campera onto the compter. She's got one of those digital film cameras that ALSO take snaps, along with one of those new computers made especially to make it super easy to upload pictures. I just don't have a clue in the world how to use it. lol
I just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying looking at everyone's ornaments. It makes me wish I'd have participated. I'm still pretty new here, and still familiarizing myself with the site, so I didn't . Maybe we'll do it again next year.
yardbird, are those angels hard to make? I do crafts here and there, but I have a short attention span, so I have to do easy things. I was thinking that those angels would be pretty to put on gifts instead of a bow.
Debi I can not take the credit for Prince Charming. Alas.....Hallmark strikes again ;)
tina
Hi everyone,
I am so glad that everyone is happy with their ornaments. I know that there are a few of us that have not yet received theirs.
To all of you that have not yet sent your onaments, please email me so that I may reassure your recipients that they are on their way. I have recieved a few emails that folks have yet to receive theirs and are feeling a little anxious as they have sent theirs out already and they have been received.
I would appreciate it if you that have not sent them out yet to let me know asap or if there is a problem let me know that too.
Thanks to all of you for participating in the ornament exchange.
I know that this is a trying time for all. It has been a very trying few days for me as my DD has had to have her gall bladder removed and there are complications. So I am stressed beyond stress. So please help me out and contact me.
Thanks
Jan
