kooger, if you have editors'/columnists' names, that would be great. (I think I may have access to the same list of newspapers you're referring to - the legwork is in looking up all the papers and figuring out who's who.)

Thanks again to all the new additions - they're going on my list right now!

handhelpers, I'll need to check with Dave to see when he's ready to post the press release (I want to make sure we don't unintentionally send multiple copies to the same writers, a sure-fire way to aggravate 'em ;o)

Please keep those names, email addresses and newspaper info (name, city/state) coming!

Terry, I don't know if this will help, but Mike Nowak at WGN radio has a Saturday evening gardening show, and is also a columnist at a local gardening magazine. Here is a link to his page at the WGN radio website. He has an e-mail and voicemail number listed there. I believe that WGN radio broadcasts can also be listened to over the internet for anyone interested.

email: marybethd@spokesman.com

If that doesn't work, please let me know and I will call them to re-verify it.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Marvelous - thank you all so much. (And for those of you who think "awww, she's probably already found mine by now..." please keep these coming. There are far more newspapers and garden writers than I can possibly find on my own. Chances are good I DON'T yet have contact info for your garden columnist!)

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

We don't subscribe to the paper, so could you email me a copy of whatever it is you are releasing? I'd love to read it.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

If Dave agrees, I'll post the press release here sometime in the near future ;o) (I'm hoping we can also start a new DG-in-the-news thread for people to post "sightings" in the newspapers and magazines ;o)

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

That would be so kewl! :-) Good luck getting more email contacts!

Northern, IN

If you can and do mail one to Karrie20x, I'd like to have one to forward to quite a few family memebrs and friends who are "dabbling" in gardening and who might then check out DG and possibly join.

Edited to say that you posted while was writing mine.

Thanks

No cutoff, please send them ASAP. But you may want to check this thread first: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/473764/
