Ohhhh! Bummy got hims present today from Roxie. Roxie belongs to msmaati.

He loves it! When we first opened it and I put it down, he was a little scared of it. But, I put a bit of catnip on it to get him started and now he rubs on it and bats it around. LOL He's so funny to watch.

Bummy says "Thank you Roxie, I wuv my new toy!"

Edited to add what the name of the toy is. It's the coolest thing. "Kookamunga Kitty Swat Exerciser".

K.C. is chowing down on the nice treats that Elvis and Peaches sent to her today. Thank you Elvis and Peaches. Being 140+ has its limitations. Food is the main pleasure she has. Here is her picture.

Ginger sent out her presents today.... she says she's sorry it took her so long. Right... it took "her" a long time.

LOL

Thank you Ginger - Roxie loves her little stuffed animal and the treats you sent. When she got the paper off she ran off to put her stuffed animal in her basket. She loves to chew them but never tares them up. Thanks again Michelle

Lupin and Oat - My animals sent your gifts on the 7th of December. Looks like Bummy got his on the 9th. I hope you got yours too. All three mailed on the same day. Let me know when they arrive.

MsMaati, this time of year, any mailings I've ever done to the U.S. take at least 2 weeks to be received (and vice-versa - my DD lives in Calif.). I mailed out presents from Lily and Lupin on the 3rd of Dec., and don't expect them to be received until later this week, or even next week. I wouldn't worry yet if I were you, and I will definitely let you know once Lupin's arrives - she asks about it every day!! Thanks.

Debbie, changed my name so when my gift gets there, please give it to lilly instead of lupin. how does lilly feel about having her tail chewed on ?

Horsie got a present today from Lupin..but he is outside and hasn't seen it yet...I will post some pictures when he does...it cane all the way from Canada! Thanks Lupin!

CaptMicha, It is funny how she does that. We did not teach her that she just began doing it from the very beginning. Now if only she could teach my granddaughter to do the same. LOL

Here is the Horsie kitty being shown his present from Lupin...he liked it, but being a cat, he pretended disdain....I bet he will play with them tomorrow, and gnaw the tails off, those cute little mice! Thanks again Lupin you did good.

i have roxie (msmaati) and horsie(melvatoo) having received there gifts on december 13th.
and nice gifts they are. those little mice are adorable and i bet gingers new little friend is cute too, well by now it probably is having a bad hair day, with slobber all over it.. :) yep, you know it is well loved when the hair starts to get all matted up on it. LOL

Debbie, i'm sorry about the mix-up with lupin and lily's gifts. i typed in the wrong name on veeja3's e-mail. woooops. please forgive my faux paw. LOL get it?????? LOL groan...;)

i feel at this point that everyone is having fun and seem to be enjoying themselves here, for this i'm grateful and i feel that you have all participated in the true meaning of christmas here with our little friends. god bless you and merry christmas

i received a thank you gifts from gemilla and agie, and grayse 1 & 2. :) i often don't open up a gift for a few days, until i need to give myself a lift. of course i did this with grayse, after i made sure i hadn't sent out the wrong name in an e-mail. ;) franklin and i set to opening the package. inside was a little brown teddy bear with a pink bow for franklin, who we agreed should be called grayse bear. so now he is learning the name of that toy and will have it down quickly. the other velvet box contained a glass christmas ornament. they are so neat because the design is painted from the inside. i paint and i can tell you, this is no easy feat, even with the proper tools.

Melvatoo, I'm glad you received Horsie's gift and that he may actually end up liking the shakey mice and catnip ball ... lol. I'm surprised the package was received so quickly. I've seen parcels sent to my DD in Calif. take more than 2 weeks to get there.

veeja3, I think I can pass off a gift addressed to Lupin as one for Lily - joke's on them, I never taught them to read! lol. As for Lily's tail, she's very, very proud of her tail and always walks with it straight up - so I guess its an easier target...lol.

now i was surprised and overwhelmed with grayse 1&2's generosity. well doesn't another gift come in the mail from gemila and agie. well i waited a few days to open it and yesterdy when a friend was over, we opened it with franklin. well what would your reaction be if you saw a cute little penguin faced hat for your doggie? ...well.... after our initial "too cute for words" shock, we had to put it on franklin and of course take some pictures. well franklin will wear a scarf, shirt, jacket etc etc...but he will not wear a hat. you can see in the picture him looking at me with this, no way momma look. i don't do hats.

Wrong again franklin. :) here he is in his hat, just being too cute for words.

and remember how i told you he didn't like to wear hats. well the poor thing, we are taking pictures, then we decided to move him in front of the christmas tree. here he is when i suggested he move, giving his momma the 'evil eye'. if looks could kill. LOL

Oh! Debi, I'm sorry I didn't catch that crucial info earlier. You probably mentioned it before & I forgot. It was either that cute hat or one that looked like a wreath that went around the neck like a collar. I thought the hat looked cuter and of course Franklin looks more adorable than I imagined. Perhaps he can trade w/ someone else for a nice scarf? Did you notice that there are two slits, to let the ears thru. I wonder if this would make it more comfortable?

I think it's cool that you call the named the little bear Grayse-bear, and he's learning it. Very sweet.
He sure is a cutie! I bet he and Grayse would be good pals, if only they lived closer to one another.

Yvonne, you have my condolences too. Nothing harder than losing a pet. Atleast to me.... they're so much more aggreeable than people. Well... sometimes.

But 23 is a loooonnnnnggggg time. While 23 years isn't enough, atleast you know she led a long, full happy life! Cherish the good!

Horsie was playing with one of his toys today...but he stopped when I started watching him, so no picture...

Here is a picture of Roxie with her toys that Ginger sent her by way of CaptMicha ( Michelle) She loves them both and she really likes those doggie treats too.

Awww! Those little rawhide canes look too big for her mouth and the stuffed animal is almost as big as she is! Lol. I had no idea she was that tiny.

I wonder if the present came for Roxroe's Oat yet? Has she posted at all on this thread?

Michelle, She may be tiny but she manages to eat those candy canes. One is gone already. She loves those big stuffed animals. She carries them around and shakes the daylights out of them, but never chews them open. She has never destroyed any of them. She is a tiny daschund, only 7 lbs.

I sent a present to Oat and one to Lupin on the same day I sent one to Bummy. I don't know if they got them or not. I am beginning to worry.
