Does anyone else, hear sleigh bells? Or is it just me I Hope to have my Christmaspresent mailed by the end of next week!

I'm dong pet shopping and am on schedule too!

Jing, jing, jing-a-ling....

Newburgh, IN(Zone 6a)

Ho! Ho! Ho!, Making a list and Checking it twice, gonna find out who is naughty or nice.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

well franklin must have been a very good boy this year because he has already gotten his present in the mail from gemilla and aggie. we opened it up together on the floor and franklin's nose and tail didn't stop for one second.
here he is reading his card.

now back to the box and those 2 little presents down there wrapped in white foam. what can they be? oh my goodness these are fantastic!!! two clear glass round ornaments with pictures of franklin inside. they are printed on clear plastic and then there are satin bows tied onto the top of the ornament. franklin thinks they are the bestest present he could ever receive. here he is begging for his present and saying a big thank you to aggie and gamilla. god bless you. you made a doggie and his momma very happy. :-)

AWWWWW! I want your dog! What a utter and total cutey pie!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

This is my Lhasa Apso, Bluebird. She is a little over 5 years old and has provided me with lots of laughs over the past few years. I take her to get trimmed every 6 weeks except that I missed her last appointment because i was gone for Thanksgiving. She goes Tues, and if i don't forget i will take another picture so you can see how she normally looks. I don't give her hard things like those leather bones to chew on because she broke a tooth a couple of years ago. She has never spent a night outside in her life. She loves small stuffed animals. Michelle the answer is NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!! NO!

donna, your little llaso apso is adorable. i love doggie when they are all shaggy, what does she weigh? my franklin likes his stuffed friends too

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

debi_z, thanks from Blue for thinking she is adorable. She weighs 12.5 lb, and i hope to keep her in that range. She can sit up like that longer than any dog i ever saw. Right now she wants me to go outside and feed the birds so she can go for a little run, so that is what we will do soon. Donna

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

Can I have Bluebird then? I love those small rag-a-muffins! Big dogs are fun but you can't carry them around with you! Bluebirds sounds really spoiled but that's the why it should be! What a cutey!

I haven't gotten around to it yet but I have to buy a new digital so I can take pics of Ginger my standard poodle to add to this thread. I think I may have some pics from her b-day party if only I can remember to get them developed. I can't wait to see how those came out!

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

donna and bluebird,
your welcome and as far as the sitting position i call "begging" , franklin too can sit on his butt for incredible lengths of time. oh too bad we arn't closer, can you see the two of them side by side begging. :-) now that would be the cutest. :)
franklin is about the same weight. 13lbs last weigh in

michelle, i bet ginger is a big cutie. ;-) but she certainly isn't a lap dog or one you can "carry around" unless of course you are into hernia's. LOL
ho ho ho and merry christmas everyone.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Debi that would be a really cute picture the two of them sitting side by side.

And NO NO NO no one is seperating us, Blue and me. thanks Donna

Carencro, LA(Zone 8b)

Debi...your little doggie is such a sweetie!!! So cute! That's a very neat and thougtful present he received from Gemila and Aggie. Very nice! He's so cute how he is begging....too cute! I'll download a pic of Grayse a little later and post it on here. She was getting into the Christmas spirit with me last night. I just love pets at Christmas. They're so fun!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

I said if I didn't forget I would post a picture of Blue after her trim. Here it is. Donna

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

I managed to mail my gift yesterday...(I mean mine and Horsie's gift) I forgot to write on the package, to open before Christmas...and I wanted to include a picture of the Horsie, but they are all on the computer...so here is one from yesterday...I had opened the trunk, to look for some gloves..I didn't close it, and he found another good spot for a nap! The cat has more sleeping places!

blue looks very pretty with her new do.

question? does anyone else pet the animals with there mouse? LOL
debi z

Carencro, LA(Zone 8b)

Here is Grayse getting into the Christmas spirit. You know pets, they have to be in the middle of it all, and included in everything. They're just so fun!

Thumbnail by grayse2

c'mon grayse2, you put it on the floor didn't you? Of course she has to climb into it, its her job!! lol.

Carencro, LA(Zone 8b)

Ceedub.....LOL.....you're right! And she's very good at her job, too....LOL.

I am sending out my box to for my secret exchange, and whoever receives the box, get your cutter ready because it's covered in tape!!! Wanted to make sure it all arrived safely! Have fun unpacking it, secret pal/pet!!!

Carencro, LA(Zone 8b)

Joanj and Bummy....Grayse received her surprise Christmas toys today, and boy Bummy did you do an excellent job picking her gifts out!!! I've attached a pic so you can see her playing with one of her new toys, and she IMMEDIATELY pounced on it, and started playing with it, and she absolutely loves the mice! Everything was a hit!!! And her mommy thanks Joan for special plant food, that was very thoughtful! One thing though, the box arrived completely opened and damaged, so I don't know if there was suppose to be anything else in the box besides the mice and the feathery-furry mice that are connected? It has this written on the side of the box, and I didn't write it:
Received, opened, and damaged 12/2/04. I don't know who opened it or who even wrote that on there, so please LMK if there was suppose to be anything else in there or not, if so, I would contact the PO to see what can be done about it. It was held closed with a rubberband. There wasn't any tape on it like it had been taped shut, so I don't know if the person who opened it took it all off or what, but thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to do something about it. Grayse absolutely loves her new toys, couldn't have picked anything better. I'll post another one right after this one, so you can see how excited she was to get her new toys. Thank you, so very much, we love everything, and I'm excited to try my new plant food out on my plants. Hope your Christmas is a very happy one, Bummy and Joan.

Grayse L O V E S boxes, and this is one of her and "her new box". Did you have catnip on your hands or in this box at any time? She went absolutely bonkers for everything in this box, including the paper, the box, the toys, and even the plastic that the two mice were in. She's so fun to watch, and she rolling around, flipping, tossing the mice up in the air, rolling around....she had so much fun!
Again, thank you for making my kitty's Christmas a special and fun one for her. I think she has a crush on Bummy now....LOL

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I forgot to tape the box shut! Oh my word, I'm so ashamed. But it sounds like everything was still in there if the card was in there too. Phwew!

I'm so glad that Grayse likes her new toys. I think there's catnip in the mice. LOL You said she didn't much care for toys, but I thought some with a little 'nip in them might just change her mind.

She's so cute with her head stuck in the box. LOL Just like a little kid, throw the toy and play with the box. I just showed Bummy the pictures and I think he has a crush on Grayse now too. :)

Carencro, LA(Zone 8b)

Grayse L O V E S catnip!!! She goes absolutely nuts for the stuff!!! No wonder she was cutting flips and somersaults!!! Kee hee hee...she's been playing with all her toys, and will until she destroys them, most likely...LOL. Bummy is absolutely adorable! Too bad they live so far apart, we could 'hook 'em up'.....LOL...they can have one of those long distance love affairs....kee hee hee.
Don't feel bad about the box. I'm just glad everything was still in it that you sent, that's all that's important, and that you didn't lose any money. Everything turend-out just fine, because we are both just tickled with our gifts. Hope Santa brings Bummy something really special for Christmas, and his mommy, too.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

grayse we're glad you liked your christmas present. i bet you'll be looking to have your momma sign you up again next year. ;)

Lily and Lupin would like y'all to know that we posted their packages on Friday. They're going a long ways though, all the way to the U S of A, so they make take a couple of weeks.

Renton, WA(Zone 7a)

Lupin your gift is on the way but coming from US so may be a couple of weeks, Tisha and Paji say hi and can they chew on your tail their cat dosen't have one.

Thanks veeja3, I suspect anyone who's "exchanging borders" will be received closer to Xmas. Lupin says good luck catching her to chew her tail; she'll be long gone ... lol.

Newburgh, IN(Zone 6a)

Well, Schwartzy, Roxie and K.C. finished shopping and mailed out some gifts to some good little kitties today. One has to go all the way to Canada, lets hope the weather does not hold it up.

Decatur, IN(Zone 5a)

I received Aggies package yesterday and Grayse2 wasn't kidding about how well she packaged up that box. It took me a while getting it box open. The suspence was killing the kids. They also got their kids exchange pkg. yesterday so they were very excited & hyper.

Here are photos of all the wonderful & thoughtful goodies Wendie sent for Aggie & even a few for me.

Here is a closeup of the cutest ornament I've even seen. Its a doggie eating a bone. If you pull on the peppermint candy, the doggies head bobs & tail bob up & down.

Aggie loved his new chew toys too. By the time I tried taking pictures of him with his goodies, the lighting wasn't that great but I'll try today.

THANK YOU! so much Wendie, we really loved all you sent. Even the plant cutting. By the way, its a kalanchoe. Not sure which one, I guess you'll have to ID it once it blooms.
Here is a bit more info for you; http://davesgarden.com/pdb/go/591/index.html

Thanks again, we'll definately be thinking of you thru this holiday season.

Tisha says shes a jack russell and hasn't met a critter she can't catch, and that long furry tail looks like a real neat chew toy. her kitty is a manx so no fun tail, besides she is old and grumpy. She is excited about having you for a new pal Lupin

veeja3, Lupin says that she would love to have Tisha as a e-pen-pal, but she simply won't share her tail....lol.

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

Ginger got her presents today and she loved all of them, especially the fluffy stuffed man? and the cookies. Big suprise there, the way to her heart is through her tummy!

Thanks Deke the Cat and Roxroe!!!!!

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)
