i have sent out the names and addresses (i had) to everyone, so that they can start to think about what they might like to get there new secret friend for christmas.

please let me know that you have received your names and i'll put a check mark next to your name as everything being on tract.

if you need any info about your animal/birdie friends likes and dislikes, just look above and if you need more, or nothing is posted then let me know and i'll send them a reminder asking them to post something here.

what else??????????? oh yes, the "secret" thing has been brought up to me. well that is entirely up to you. it is kept secret, at least, until the present is received. then you can choose to sign the card or gift or not and make them guess. of course with only 12 of us playing, it will be easier to guess. :-) but i'm of the school that i like to thank the person that is sending to me and i therefore want it to be revealed when i receive the gift.
of course.................you can have fun here at the post talking about what a nice time you had shopping for a doggie, or kitty and that you got this really neat toy, etc etc teasing everyone and keeping everyone wondering until they open there gift.
or..........you can have someone else post a message for you anonymously talking about there gift is fun too. ;-)
then we'll come here or perhaps to another thread and post pictures and thank our secret santa's . sound good?
i guess the whole thing is to have fun and for our animals to share in the joy of the holidays, along with us.

I am sorry I didn't think of this sooner...how about if we mail your package to someone, say, in Quebec? And they mail it on, to you? Do internal things get to you faster? I sent a package to Quebec last week, and they got it today...so it takes a week (or so) to get to Canada..then how long do things take once there? I hate for your kids, not to be involved in this!

Well I can tell that Horsie is excited, just look at that face - its all lit up! Well, in that subtle kitty style that they think fools everyone .... Lily and Lupin are excited too, but wouldn't let me take their pictures to show you - they can't hide it that well, and don't want anyone else to really know... They've got some interesting ideas for presents I tell ya!!

Tisha and Paji like treats peaches and elvis like everything bird related but nothing with those little bells.honey stick treats are one of their favorites. I wish they would take a bath but they don't have a bird bath. just hints for their pal. thankyou carol

Veeja3: You can find bird baths at Petco (and maybe Petsmart) in different sizes. Sometimes they're a little hard to find so you'll have to do some searching! Larger water dishes work well too. But baths are very important.

A plain old bowl of water should work well too. I use a smaller doggie water bowl and put it on a spread beach towel and swish my fingers in it. Daisy and Clover can't resist the sound of water!

Will do I took tisha and Paji shopping today to find something for their pal but they just wanted to shop for themselves. they saw a rat they liked. They have a kitty as a pal and just showed no interest in kitty toys. I will have to go tomorrow without them. will get a bath for dirty birds. thankyou carol
