End of Season fun. Come Play!

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

mine average 5 days, but Spring Peach has had blooms for a week.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, I think Butterfly smells like strong smelling baby powder. I love her fragrance. Next to Versi. Orange, she is my favorite.

Very pretty blooms Eileen. You are right....this thread has been very enjoyable.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am going to have to smell it! Thanks Brugie.

Bluegrass, I wish they lasted weeks. LOL. I t depends on the heat usually and your watering. I would say 4 to 5 days is average for it to be in prime condition. What it lacks in longevity, it usually makes up for in amount and frequency of

Ellen, I love your Eventide X Butterfly. Such a pretty pink color .

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Wow, how many different brugs do you grow? I love Whiskers.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gorgeous pictures Clare. It really is to bad that your Pink Beauty has such small flushes. LOL!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Clare, could I move in with you, I'd work for food. Your brugs are so lovely I almost swoon!! Well, maybe you've read my wind storm brug story, and to top that off, the worst thing that can happen in a home is for a toilet to overflow and I'm grateful that mine did not - but, I got the second worst problem, water leak, on the weekend. So, I'm spending this beautiful day under the sink, not a pretty sight, your brugs are truly a breath of fresh air!!!!!

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

Alas, all I have to offer today is 'enchanted',whose little buds are just beginning to sally forth.Perhaps she will yet don her full regalia and bless us with her beauty and perfume.

Beautiful, Clare. Looks like you're in Brug Heaven!

Your Brugs are beautiful!! I have a real case of zone envy!!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, you guys!

Bluegrass, I'm not sure how many different varieties I grow. I think I counted 25 plus seedlings, but I'll have to count again!

Shirley, LOL! PB is bare now so she is resting, but I think I see buds forming again.

Sherrylike, A windstorm made a lot of my brugs bare also. I'm so sorry about your water leak. The last house that I lived in had a septic tank, which the landlords never flushed or maintained, and one day it flooded the lower level of the house. It wasn't pretty.

Thanks, Angela. I am in Brug Heaven with you all.

Thanks, Bonnie.

Clare, I just finished looking at all of your lovely brug pictures. Each one was simply gorgeous, thanks so much for sharing them with us! I can only imagine what your yard must look like, with all of them blooming - but the pictures sure help...

Eileen

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, Eileen. I'm pretty fortunate that I live in such a nice climate. Some of my brugs bloomed all summer long, but some bloomed sporatically. My Ecuador Pink hardly bloomed at all this summer. Some are in containers, and some are in the ground. Here's a view of my front yard, looking toward my house from the street.

Incredible pics Clare.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, Donna! Do you recognize any flowers? Many of them are from your plants! Hugs:-)

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Well!!! Okay, Donna, this is for you: Arky should be 'dressed' like you dressed Clare in CA!!!! Okay??

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I would Sherry but as I stated before I chopped and sent all my good brugs to TX for safe keeping. Only have Monster, Golfito and Frosty Pink to offer this time the others are way to small. I am not spending another fortune to have them shipped back. My friend rooted them and is selling them to recover our expenses. She is keeping one of everything for me in case some of mine don't come back. The huge trunks were not happy being cut this early in the season and were weeping fluids for over a week. My L'Amour has shown no signs of new growth and the others have so I am worried about her.
