Kell, I have enjoyed looking at your post and pics this summer. I need to take closer shots of my flowers. This is my first year and I did have Pink Frosty to bloom. My Charles G. didn't :(

" New Endeavor" a seedling this year.I like the pendulous types. :-)

Wow that was a great ray of sunshine to wake up too Kell! I don't even begin to know which is my favorite this year, but the ones that touch my heart the most, are the gifts we got from from Monika! Thank you for being the kind hearted soul you are, and incase I forgot to tell you, Kell, thank you for being the wonderful friend you are, without you I would have forgot to stop and smell the flowers this year!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I agree Tracey. I had lots of favorites, but didn't get lots of good pictures. Getting two double pinks was a thrill in itself, but from the others, I think this seedling will end up being one of my favorites. The long calyx makes it resemble an Arborea. It's one of Susie's. I know...it's white, but I still love it.

Oh my Shirley! I love that, yes definately a keeper, too cute! Did Kyle see that one? Watch it close when he is there..LOL.

Good Morning Shirley! Thank you too! I have so many thing to be thankful for this year, and you are at the top of my list too!

WOW Pat, I am going to come steal that chair and that brug! I almost died when I read that someone named their brug Sun Killed! LOL

Gordenhawk, I want your whole garden. Your vines are flowering their little hearts out. How are you going to overwinter them all? Just roll a hoop house over the roof? My son just moved to NYC in Sept. I miss him so!

I love everyones pics. So much fun to see them all.

Here is another one, I love. It was a surprise to me how much I enjoyed this brug.

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

What a photo session!
Here is a mysterious stranger from Angels By Ashley that I planted directly in the garden. It has been hearty, bug free all summer, and began its blossoming with a 'bunch of bananas" on top. The flowers have been smaller than most, but the coloration is gorgeous. Coral with lime striping, and a scent to knock your sox off! It keeps on blooming, too ---

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

This is a seedling, has bloomed constantly all summer. Cut some of the side stems off, as it was filling the whole garden. Would you believe....both parents were nice long tendrils and pink. Arrggghhhh!

2004 seedling Bert x Whiskers
I love this one's rich solid yellow , thick corolla and intoxicating fragrance.
The outward facing blooms make it a real show off which is a good thing since the flowers last a week or so.

As a brug "dreamer", I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing your beautiful shots of these glorious brugs. As a new mother of 3 cuttings and one young plant, I can only aspire to show some of my own photos of my new babies on this forum next autumn. (Sigh)

One more. This is one being called Pumpkin for the time being. I love the color on her.

Thumbnail by Brugie
Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I am so glad such a beautiful brug is named after Cypress Gardens since I understand that it has been sold and developed.
I loved the name Pumpkin Pie for that one, Brugie, as someone suggested.
I enjoyed Afterglow which gone2seed gave me at the GA RU but it didn't acclimate well and only had 2 blooms shortly after I got it home. I hope the cuttings I took do better next year.

That color is almost unbelievable ,, such a dark hue. Unforgettable !

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm so impressed with the color of Pumpkin that I can hardly stand knowing I have to wait until next summer to see her bloom again.

Oh, people they're all so gorgeous! I never even knew anything so beautiful existed before I joined DG, and now I've got cuttings from 3 of Jrush's incredibly gorgeous plants. If they actually survive, I will have my very own brugs next summer - I'm too excited for words!
