Hi all,
I have grown this great vine the past two years on a trellis. I would like to know if anyone has tried growing it up a shrub, trailing from a sturdy hanging basket or as a groundcover. Thanks.
Hyacinth Bean
mmmm as a groundcover, interesting idea. Think I'll just try that next year. thanks for the idea, I'll keep watch to see if anybody's done that.
I tried as a ground cover but there was a low wall so not enough sun. : (
Next year I might try where there is full on crazy sun.
The sucessful ones came up through a mass of morning glories though and did great.
A friend of mine grew it every year up the TV tower. Jessamine
Mine is growing up a crepe myrtle tree.
I planted it this spring and its now over the top and hangs down off the branches where it grew bigger than the branch. Does that make sense?
Looks like an unshaped white myrtle now, lol
