Just one thing to say

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Dave is an AWSOME webmaster....He actually listenes to us...gripes,requests,ideas,etc. If it is do-able he does it. In no situation are ALL parties going to be satisified...there is always another option. Howerer, Dave tries to to the BEST for the majoriety concerened, If there is a minor "flaw" he tries to make it right. Let's give credit where it is due...change can be difficult, but the admns. @ DG is ALWAYS there to help and anwswer questions. A new system is in gear....give a tad of time for the bugs to work out. JMHI...for whatever new comes our way.

Valinda, CA(Zone 10a)

AND he is an awesome programer! So many modifications are quickly accomplished because he has used such a good structure underneath what we see.

Thanks for the kind words, ya'll! I sure appreciate it!

best,
dave

Chuckling. I doubt that would happen. :-)

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Hey, if Pat Paulson can run, I think you've got a real good shot at it! (Oh, dear, you're probably not old enough to remember Pat Paulson... and that means I'm a really old heifer myself...sigh).

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Might not happen, but I'd still cast my vote that way! teeheehee

Well, I'd need to wait 7 more years in order to be old enough to run. How about "Dave in 2012" :-)

dave

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

I'll start the posters!

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

Oh my .. where's the media? ..Where are all the journalists ? .. Wow!! ..

Folks, we've got it - right here .. documented by the MR. DG, himself !! .. Yep, right here, on his very own DavesGarden.com .. !!!

So, in true journalistic spirit and form . . .
Folks, we've (essentially) got (his) agreement to commit to be a candidate in 2012 ! ! !
Oh my! Question now is .. jes who/whom would be at the helm of this wonderful ship, then? .. Trish? .. Nope, she'd certainly be accompanying the hubby/candidate on his campaign trails and/or getting ready for settlin' in for the massive adjustments as the prospective 1st lady !! ... oh dear me ... Dave couldn't just leave 'us' .. in the hands of jes anybody ... Could he? .. Would he? ... Terry, you gonna stick around ... or, will you be getting on the docket, for vice-president ? ...

Mmmmmm ... Well, problem's solved !! ..
Dave, you simply canNOT run as a candidate for any political office .. not in this lifetime! You've got plenty enuff other duties that you're well obligated to already !! ... Whew ... !! Thought we wuz goners !! (LOL)

(besides, ah gotta lil feeling that there haint gonna be any 'political' offices established in Heaven Dave! but, by golly .. if pooter technology is there .. I have no doubt that the Almighty's already got you in his sights!)

.. ((hugs)) .. God bless ya all !!

Plus then we'd have to rename the United States to DavesNation.com

MD &, VA(Zone 7b)

Thanks Dave... you really don't know how badly I needed a smile today.

McKinney, TX(Zone 8a)

Count me in! I will campaign. :)

Dave you sure have accomplished a lot at your young age. Man, I am impressed.

Irving (Dallas area), TX(Zone 8a)

I don't know, Dave. By that time you'll have a million DGers voting for you! That would be a good start. LOL

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Either way, I fear it's going to be "Damnation" for half the country. (Just a play on words)

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Well now we've got DaveNation and I think Daisy coined the term DaveMail. What revolution will he be at the helm of next? Can't wait to see!

2012 you say, Dave? Oh my....now you made me feel old! I'm not sure we can wait that long!

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Did y'all know the Mayan Calendar stops in 2012 ?
Trackies and Art Bell say that's the end of time!

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

ROTFLMBO....what have I started?! I would certainly vote for Dave. DavesNation.com...LOL One of your policies could be a garden in every yard..sorta like a chicken in every pot.

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

... (a bit of a nudge) ...

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

LOL...I had forgotten all about this thread!

Sure an we do love our fearless leader.

Oakland, OR(Zone 8a)

No way I'd vote for Dave for president. What, and have to share him with the rest of the nation even those without the wits to join Dave's Garden? Not to mention he wouldn't have time for us and the US also! I'll vote for him to continue on as he has-being the best Webmaster in the US. Dotti

Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)

Ditto Dotti!!
Anne

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

:)

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Oh my....once again I had forgotten this thread. Just had to bump it...see the post by Dave numbered 1080878 within this thread. :-)))

Wow, that's coming right up, isn't it? I better get my organizing committee started. ^_^

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

LOL....I just could not resist. :-)))

Clarkson, KY

I'm in. I'll vote, do whatever it takes...

(my imagination just ran away with me though -----Just think "I'd love to be President but then who's gonna milk the cows?")

Well, I'd bring the cows with me. That beautiful acreage on the lawn of the whitehouse would finally be put to good use. ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

They already have enough manure in DC.^_^

(Zone 1)

Ya got my vote! hmmm ... I can definitely picture a few cows roaming the rose gardens at the white house! I wonder if they would eat the roses, or maybe just trample them? They wouldn't have to be in the Rose garden though, I bet you'd find space for them someplace on that property!

(Zone 1)

^_^ Ditto what Victorgardener just said! But, cow manure would be a better kind!

Clarkson, KY

You know the idea has potential. They don't know how to really compost and use the manure they generate!! Leading by example now.... ^_^ 'course Dave would have cows.....hmmmm. needs a bit of fine tuning, but...

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

LOL....the Kennedys had a pony so why not some cows!? Go Dave.
