These things have invaded my yard. We have many acres of hay fields and have infestations of army worms just about every year in the fields. But this year they are eating everything in sight. It is a good thing we have enough hay already baled for the winter cause as fast as it grows they eat it. But what really amazes me is now they have moved to the yard and begun to eat my plants especially the brugs! I have been spraying every few days with the dish soap/alcohol mix but that doesn't faze them. Each morning there are bigger holes in the leaves. What should I do? I'm afraid in a few days the leaves will be all gone and I have so many blooms on them. This is disasterous for me. My first year with brugs has been spoiled. If anyone has suggestions LMK. Quickly Thanks, Jenny
Army Worms
acephate for the inedible plants, 1 tsp per gallon of water works fine every 3-4 weeks.
for edible plants Sevin dust, especially the spray works equally well.

Thanks Drew. I'll give it a try. Jenny
