I am very sick right now and having terrible gallbladder attack again.. Had this terrible gain since Sat night at midnight.. Been pain since.. I fed up and have appt to see Dr today and hope they will send me to have surgery to take it out soon as possible!
Some of you know that I have tried Gallbladder flush recetnhly.. It worked but why I am still having terrible pain that I couldnt bear with that.. I fed up..
Get my gallbladder out soon!
Mini- am sorry it is still giving you fits. Keep us posted how you are doing.
I wondered if that flush would really work for the long haul. I've done so much better since having my gallbladder out Aug.4th. It may require more than one test to determine what is really causing the problem. For instance, I didn't have any stones at all. Just a very deficient functioning gallbladder. The function level is suppose to not go below 35% and mine was down to 23% and it was decided that I would be better off with no gallbladder. I don't think you will regret having it done. I eat anything I wish with no problems that an ulcer wouldn't act up over anyway. That is something else you need to have looked into. What you may have is a bad ulcer not a bad gallbladder unless you know for sure that you have stones or a decient functioning gallbladder.
Oh my again giving you so much pain well hope to have surgery asap so you can feel better to get over with it so let me know when surgery ok.
(((HUGS)))
The last time I went to doctor several months ago.. took Xray and ultersound.. it showed some shadows there. They said it may be be the stones or maybe not. Doctor told me that I need suregery so I decided to put that off for now and try Gallbladder flush. I done the flush. It did passed some stones out.. I feel great but had little once pain for a while..
Recently, I was rushed to the hospital which the pain that I couldn't bear any more. Got painkiller mecicine and finally pain went away. Took blood work. The nurse gave me the papers what my blood test showed some numbers %. They said I need to take my gallbladder out and told me what not to eat or can eat.
Then last sat night at midnight, I woke up with sharp pain and it keep going for hours after I ate seafood platter of fried. Oh my, the pain wont go away.. I had to take painkiller medicines. it helped. I have been throwing several times yesterday and having nauseas due painful. Last night, I slept so peaceful which I needed that. This morning around 8 am, the pain started again. I cried and couldn't find the position to feel comfortable. IT felt like stomach or gallbladder was tight, tearing and feel sharp pain. It makes me feel so nauseas. Then went to doctor today and made some calls.. So now I am waiting for doctor to call me back to schedule for me to have surgery (outpatient).
Mini, I'm sure you will feel much better after the surgery. When I had mine out they found out I had a diseased gall bladder in addition to stones. So changing my diet did not help much. I hope you feel better.
Mini, get in there and get it done if you have any question! It is best if you can get it out laparoscopically and before you have real problems. My SIL had her's out last year. I hope you get to feeling better. I miss our chats but I am back to work now. :( I am so sorry you are still sick with that.
Hoping that you get some relief-soon.!
Sounds like what i felt Mini before i had my gallbladder out.I had a terrible infection with mine and pain all over my tummy.I had a super large stone and could not eat at all, only drink liquids.Every time i would try to eat the pain would get worse and i would get sick.I hope you get it taken care of soon.
Saying a prayer for you.Let us know something.Hugs,Bitty.
Hello! I am doing okay but still pain after whatever anything I eat. Doctor called yesteday for dr appointment so I am going to call them back and set up the appointment! I can't wait for it to be over!
My Mom was ever so happy after she had hers out, could eat and the pain was never again... she only regretted the year of ouchies she had wasted as she put it.
I put up with the pain from my Gallbladder for over a year too. Until it got unbearable and would flare up with what ever I ate or drank. The attacks were affecting my attendance at work.
They removed it Laporoscopically and spent the night in the hospital and home the next day and back to work in 3 wks. Much better than the old way.
That was about 6 yrs. ago. Now I can eat anything and everything with no pain.
Hoping you can get it taken out soon, Mini. You will feel so much better.
I have doctor appt today at 4pm... Yesteday, I cooked us a turkey ground meat spagetti.. served with hot rolls and chocolate pie.... I told DH.. I dont care if it start hurt again since I am so hungry. I ate two plates of it... Yummy.. Strange.. it didn't hurt at all! I slept peaceful last night. Whew! I have the painkiller medicine on my side in case if I am hurting again.
My surgery date will be on Tuesday, the 7th this month! I am still hurting.. and can't wait to get that out!
I know how you feel could not wait to get over with it so you will not be suffer anymore.
Good luck Mini and we will have you in our prayers.

Hey, Tricia - Up in the wee hours here and praying for you to have peace and a successful, uneventful surgery. (((Love ya!)))
Dont fed up, just pray to God, who listen every one and every request, I am also praying for you.
Today is the big day. Once this is done you will start feeling much better and be able to enjoy life without suffering that awful pain. Good luck and fast healing!
I just called but no one pick up the phone just had the answer machine on so will try again to call her later on to check how she was doing.
Miss ya! (((HUGS)))
Take lot of rest~
Thanks, Redrose. We'll watch this thread.
They should hold her overnight at the hospital at least 24 hours. Let us know how she is doing.
If it's laproscopic surgery, they might not keep her overnight. I was in and out within five hours or some ridiculous amount of time.
I know they are shuffling people out way too soon these days but the same day is dangerous. We almost lost Dad after they took his out and sent him home too soon (the next morning) and by the next night he was running a high fever and had to be re~admitted because of an infection (staph) We came closer to losing him over that than his open heart surgery. So I am praying they hold her longer for safety sake.
Hello... just spoke to her daughter Sammi so she said she is doing good no problem with surgery everything went so well and she just woke up and dizzy right now of course from the medicines help her relax. I am so happy she is allright .
Hello Friends.. I am home! I got home around 4 pm. I am doing pretty good and been sleeping lots and of course the pain is uncomfortable. I had to use big white ace around my stomach. NO problem during surgery. My DD Sammie was very helpful and took care of me.
They gave me the picture of my removed gallbladder even stones. There was only 3 stones in the gallbladder that they found.
Ok, I better go and lay down and resting. I am in lots of pain.. Poor Matt was fussing and got mad cause I couldn't nurse him right now due painkiller medicines soo as the pain med wear it out then I can nurse him.
OH I had to tell you, Yesterday Matt turned 13 months old and he started walking around now. It brought tear my eyes after I saw him walking his first step then add 15 steps and more..
Hugs,
Tricia
