I always say I'm a gardener, not a landscaper (meaning I just jam in plants wherever I can find a spot, and hope for the best). More often than not, the chance results of this willy-nilly planting are pleasing, and sometimes downright lovely: I just noticed this peach-coloured rose blooming up through Rose of Sharon Lavender Chiffon. (We will not speak here of the bright pink rose I have planted in front of a yellow-green arbor vitae.)
Don
Nature is a forgiving Lass...
Just lovely. I also plant wherever there is room. The butterflies and the birds seem to love various combinations which might not make it into the fancy magazines--their loss.
I'm supposed to have a plan? Wow!
