Hello friends:
I have a lovely dark red hardy hibiscus that has bloomed for me last year but no seed pods. I just figured it to be a hybrid and stopped hoping for seeds. But ths year I have a scant few seed pods form.
Oh course, I'm elated and promptly put the dried seed into soil. I'm hoping for the best. But what I really want to know is: Why seed pods this year, why so few (bloom was extremely heavy) and is there any chance the seeds will produce plants like the mother plant?
Any help is appreciated,
