Lovely plant-will not be winter hardy here, 4/5- a bit Musty to hold in my plant room, can the bulbs be dug and held over like cannas or onions or...?
holding over society garlic
I believe it will be easy to dig, dry and replant next season, I do that with lots of other types of garlic here in my zone 5 gardens ~ Laurrie
Marcia, I've wondered the same thing about my variegated Society Garlic. I figured I'd leave it potted up but move it to the GH (I think we're marginally hardy here, and the GH should provide that extra bit of protection. If you find you can overwinter it by letting the bulbs dry out, I'll be very glad to know that for next year!
