have you checked out the garden watchdog? hopefully it has some feedback for you.

AA is an outstanding rare plant nursery! She searches out and cultivates old-time and unusual new varieties of both annuals and perennials. A very small local grower, Annie is a wonderful person and well worth supporting. Be patient if she is out of something you want, she personally grows all her seedlings so when she's sold out, she has to start new flats again.

Annie's is a great place to visit personally, but her plants can also be found at many Bay Area upscale nurseries. Many unusual and rarely cultivated plants can be found at Annie's. Here are some images taken at Annie's June of 2003.

This is Annie herself:

And a view of part of the nursery:

And more of the plants. You can't go wrong with Annie's unique offerings.

I agree with Happenstance. Annie really does run this place and is very involved. I was only there once when she was not. I do not have mail/internet order experience, but I would find it hard to believe she would not do everything possible to make the customer happy.

i envy you because you are in california i am in kingston ny very beautiful but cold so i was afraid that many of her plants would not hold up also there is a 20 dollar shipping charge seems a bit steep but her selections were great
