Lisa,
I have to agree with Trish (and everyone else for that matter). This is a really neat one. I've never seen anything like it. I hope to see more of your awesome pictures.

Trish,
I have your A. odora ready for you whenever you're ready.

Hugo... I think its time you made a run up to C'view.. we can visit the nurseries up here :)

Lisa.. I'll send him/her and e-mail and get on the waiting list for this one... thanks. Still in awe over it's beautiful markings.

Homestead, FL(Zone 10b)

It's very pretty Lisa. I don't have any curcumas so this one may become my first. Oh Chris........:-)

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

I sent him an email also wondering when he is going to get some more. I had no idea it was going to be so pretty.

Hugo, your hawaiin woodrose is starting to put out new leaves so I know it is rooting.

Trish, if you manage to get Hugo over your way let me know and I will join the party. I imagine Crestview Nurseries is having a sale about this time of year. Would also love to go back to the Greenleaf Nursery. That was such a cool nursery. That is where I got that nice chinese wax banana for only 10 bucks.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful bloom.

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

lovely! wow!

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

That's a great picture Lisa, and would be a good entry for the photo contest, both BT's and Daves.

We'll be getting some more in March of '05. We typically have them in stock from then until the 1st of July. After that, it's really too late to start them for most people outside of zone 9 and higher.

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

Lisa,
Glad to hear that the woodrose is doing good. I can't wait to meet up. I would love to go to Crestview and hang out.

Trish,
I would love to come out sometime on a weekend. Not this weekend but maybe next. I'm sure there are all sorts of new things for this time of year.

BT,
Did you get my e-mail regarding the jatropha (Budda Belly).? Maybe I missed your response. My e-mail had been kind of screwy lately.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

I don't see one. Go ahead and try to send it again. Did it go DG or regular mail?

Chris

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

Regular not DG. I replied to your previously sent e-mail with all the info in it regarding price, size etc... I'll put another together shortly.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8b)

wow, that is really cool. Never heard of it though. That is what I like about this site. I find all kinds of things I have to have.

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Yea, Kathy
He will get them in again early next spring. I am gonna get me several. Can you imagine what a grouping of these would look like? As cheap as he sells them, I can do that.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Lisa,

You're on our email list, and as usual, we'll send out pre-order info in December. Pre-orders have a discount of 10-30% depending on quantity. We haven't received the '05 ship dates yet, but these should arrive by mid -march at the latest.

And yes, they, along with other Curcma, look incredible in mass plantings. Makes it very nice to cut them for the vase, where they'll last up to 10 days. The flower that's on there now, should last 3-4 weeks.

Glad you're enjoying them.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

I agree... I e-mailed Chris and am on their list for the pre-sale... can't wait.. I'm sure he'll have lots of other wonderful new things to offer as well.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I'm with Kyle, keep lookin over and over.
I really liked the contest going at BTs,I wish I could get one of these to bloom.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

You must have something to show, doc.

Anything we've carried, whether purchased from us or not, is eligible. Not sure if this list is complete, but it's the best I can come up with off the top of my head.

Adenium, Euphorbia, Curcuma, Zephyranthes, Habranthus, Eucrosia, Eucomis, Eurycles or Proiphys, Jatropha, Cannas, Amorphophallus (there's one I know you have), Scadoxus, Hymenocallis, Costus, Thai Caladiums, Tacca, Musella, Globba, Kaempferia, Alocasia.

I think that's most of them

Chris

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Lisa and Rootdoctor,

They've done some hybridizing with the Candy Cane this year and crossed it with Curcuma a. Deep Pink and one with Curcuma a. Light Pink. the pics I have aren't the best, but it will give you an idea.

In total we'll have 8 new varieties of Curcuma, and some of the old ones for a total of 20. Those 2 are the most exciting though.
