Is the basic format complete? I noticed the titles of the PDB entries don't look as streamlined being flush with the left side instead of in the center. I like the "search plants" and report an error being up top, but it seems to mess with the cleanness of the title. I also don't think the "Detailed information" is absolutly necessary. I took a sneak peak in your secret forum (LOL) and no one had mentioned this.

I wasn't asked to test, but I liked it. (How could I resist taking a peek?) Mostly I like that, with the side columns being done away with, there is more space for reading/writing. Of course the tabs are more noticeable and easier to find than the links on the side too!!!

However, I have noticed with other web sites, that the wider reading columns can be tiring on the eyes, (especially with the smaller font), and if other users spend as much late-night time reading as I do, then you may want to consider putting something around the edges. Maybe a floral border, nothing busy, just easy on the eyes. Your floral logo in the title would repeat nicely...

Now I see that since last night, you have added that at the top right. Could that fit better at the top center? then just have the floral down the sides...... back to having more reading/writing room?

You know, (you do), that I have been a member/subscriber for less than two months, so I have no idea (NOT A CLUE) the changes this site has gone through the last few years. I can see that you work hard and enjoy it, and it is especially wise and humble to include your users in these changes.

Edited to add: has anyone noticed that the lovely pictures are too big? Even when I hit F11, it is a few pixels too wide, and takes longer to load. Though, I like the idea of bigger pictures, and it could just be my older monitor...
