This is OFF TOPIC Dave -

The last time the topic of "Terry" came up it evolved into something involving Uber Goobers or some other silliness. :-)

Everytime I see her ID as plain ole "Terry" I really think it is not fair. :(

Couldn't we get her a title of some kind, like Ober Uber, PDB Uber, Grand Uber, Top Uber, or perhaps "Head Slave to the Ubers"?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Ahem. Clearing my throat here. I try really hard to not answer to "Guber" or "goober" (spell it as you wish.) However, "head slave to the Ubers" is a bit long and would mess up the cell width. Whatever you call me, just don't call me late for dinner!

Tremont, IL(Zone 5b)

I'd be interested as long as it doesn't need a fast conect speed. I live 6 miles from town & the phone lines are old, they plan on replacing them next year, but I won't hold my breath & my connect speed at the best has only been 30 bpm but usually around 21.

Hostanquilts,

You would be an ideal candidate then, since your feedback on the feature's performance on your slow connection would be worthy.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I have a slow dial up connection too Dave, so if you need another person with those poor credentials, I'd be willing also.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Can I test too Dave??? Pretty please!!

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10b)

I have dsl but also have the time to test!

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

I would be happy to test for you.

Colorado Springs, CO(Zone 6a)

I'll be a tester too, if you need more.

Blenheim, New Zealand

will help if I can Boots

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I'd love to beta test - you know I like tweakin'.

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

I might like to give it a go.

Thanks everyone. I'll probably be ready to give you guys access to the new feature tomorrow. If not, then Wednesday for sure!

dave

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

Thanks, bootandall. Now, don't post anymore about it in the public forum! Use the beta test forum I mentioned in my email. :-)

Everyone else just has to wait. :-)

Dave

Crossville, TN

Waiting! *grin* but I don't do WAIT well. LOL Jo

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

A new feature is being tested, of that there is no doubt.
But Dave is keeping it secret, and wont say what it's about.

Beta testers are getting a sneak preview
but I was too late to volunteer too.

But what ever this secret feature may be
I know it'll help both you and me!

Crossville, TN

Zany does it again!! WHOOHOO Jo

Tygh Valley, OR(Zone 6a)

I'm in!
The beta discussions are locked though, I guess thats on purpose =)

I was going to reply on the "fonts" thread that you can use Ctrl+ Scroll to adjust your font size too.

Just hold down your Ctrl key & scroll with your mouse scroll wheel. It will adjust your text size.

I have a script I've used on a few sites of mine also, that adds text size adjustment buttons. Its kinda neat...
http://kidrocket.org
You'll see the ABC links on the left, give'em a click.
It sets a cookie with your size choice & renders the whole site that size.

If you like it?
Help yourself to the link & .js code, its a linked .js file.
You just have to create a few simple, alternate stylesheets with your different text sizes & Voila!

I really wanna see the new tabs though =) I love tabs!

cheers

Dave
i almost got trapped in there
it was open & i was in looking around for the last hour
logged in even to see all
& loved what i saw
was in the pdb & thought i would go back a make a comment
& i had shut down the regular DG
& all of a sudden the beta forums seemed to be all locked up
so i just logged out & came here
so my question was going to be about the add to wish list button in thr PDB ????
where you too far into this code to add ?
or is it a feature still being considered ?

thanks for the little tour
