Up and Coming Co-ops?

Decatur, GA(Zone 7a)

For some (wonderful) reason, we seem to be having several co-ops going on at once. I have not been an active member of DG during this time of year. Is this normal? I really love it and am not complaining. I guess my main question is, is there a way to know what's coming down the pike as far as more co-ops so I can budget my money?

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Not really, Pins.......we just find wonderful deals and go for it.
You may want to go back and read some of the old coop threads to see if you can see a pattern of sorts.

I don't read all the forums so don't know if any others are pending or not.

Hi Molly! I'm in on the three you mentioned, and its keeping me poor. lol That's why I'm asking about future ones. Darius, thanks for the update on the bulbs co-op. I didn't know about that one coming up. It'll sure help, because I do intend to buy bulbs for next spring.

No particular rhyme or reason. We went through a real dry spell this spring and summer - mainly because there were few volunteers to organize co-ops. I think a lot of the activity now is in anticipation of fall planting time. There's a section of the co-op primer that gives would-be organizers an idea of what can be ordered when, and a timetable so they can figure out when they need to start a co-op in order to have the plants/seeds/bulbs arrive at the proper planting time.
