Feels like fall today!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Boy are we having whacky weather! I shut off the air, which we really have only used a few days this month. It's cooler outside! I think our high is only supposed to be about 75 today. Just when the ears and canna really take off from all the rain, we get a cool day like this. So how is he weather where the rest of you are?

Chele, I heard there was an unusual (for this time of year) Canadian front moving down, making it feel almost Fall-like! I doubt it will get to us, though.

Enjoy it!

It sure is nice to have the fresh air and NOT have to slice through it to get to the pool! LOL Of course as cool as it is, we may not make it to the pool today.

Same ol, same ol here in the desert. Though it was only 100* yesterday and around the same temps today. We're lucky it drops to 70* at nite! LOL It's a dry heat.

Mount Hermon, LA(Zone 8b)

It is currently 101.5 degrees here. Humidity around 95%.

I would love to be able to work in the garden, but if I went outside right now, I know I'd burst into flames! LOL.

Will someone send me a box-ful of that cooler air please?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

It is 77 now and barely feels it! I had a great visit with a DG pal bearing daylilies. I dug up a few plants for her and barely broke a sweat! LOL I bet the energy company is hating me! We only had the air on about 5 days off and on. So long as I can make it to the pool, who needs air?? LOL

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

62 degrees here in KC! Very autumnal and almost welcomed. Just glad that summer isn't quite over yet and it's just a reminder of things to come in a couple of months. Garden season is 2/3 over and time to start looking at fall and next spring planting ideas.

Humid and muggy here. BUT, I've been collecting seeds already on some plants so fall will be here too soon, I'm sure...We got to turn the air off for about a week but it's back on now and has been for the past couple days....

It is hot here too, got up to 100 but back down to 96 for some reason. No clouds and for sure no rain, and practically no humidity, but feels like an oven when i step outside the door to change water. Irrigating takes up all my time. Don't leave the air on at night because it cools down to 60s at night which is great. Donna

Way down here in S Fla, usually our hottest month of the year is August. It got here early and it scares me to think what's in store for next month.

We have the A/C running 24 hours. Last year I bought a window unit for the garage (boy are we spoiled) So dh runs that unit when he's working on rebuilding the motorcycle he just bought.

Can't get out to do any gardening until dusk, then the skeeters get ya. (You should see the weeds out there)

Anyway, I don't think that cool front will get down this far either.
