Wow! I have too much shade to grow veggies (sniff), but I'm always invited to share my dad's home grown harvest. It's great.

The past two years were a real bust for my veggie garden, but this year is - so far - holding up very well (other than the corn and a few other minor annoyances...)

I figure I've already picked 5 gallons or more of tomatoes (I think about a dozen different varieties) and the harvest is just getting underway. Mmmm, mmmm good!

Oh Terry! Yummmmmmmmmm! They look fantastic. We're still waiting for ours to ripen...then they're off to the freezer or the oven to be cooked down for sauce. (I don't mind the wait, I just finished up the green beans today. :-) )

Nice! What a great variety. How many plants do you have in?

I have some great looking tomatoes on the vines, but they're not turning color yet. The peppers are still coming on, still green. So far, so good!

Mmm, let's see. In the basket I think are:

Cherokee Purple
Dinner Plate
Dr. Carolyn
Jaune Flamme
Dinner Plate
Marizol Gold
Wes

There weren't any Arkansas Traveler's, Lucky Cross, Nebraska Weddings, or Marianna's Peace ripe today. (We've had some of each already, and more to come...)

Peppers are starting to ripen (I got my first small batch of Numex anaheims today; a few bells will be ready soon, and the Red Caribbeans are still a few weeks away.

Cukes are almost ready to start picking, Okra in a couple weeks and baby watermelons are growing fast. Gotta luv summertime!

Terry, I agree with you, I;m really living now, tomatoes are ripening (altho slowly), have had corn for a week and cucumbers for a couple of weeks. Today picked a quart of blueberries from my own shrubs. I really earn those, my ground is so alkaline, I add sulfur to the soil, and mulch with pineneedles. then had to build a pvc pipe frame with bird netting to keep the birds out of the berries. Also the everbearing strawberries are ripening. Apricots are finished, peaches haven't begun. Donna
