I friend gave me a sick Alsobia and it has turned intoa monster! Sending out shoots all over the place. Can I just cut them apart and root them directly in soil, securing the area shown in the photo...each "joint" is almost a little plant in itself.
Alsobia propagation
Don't see why not-
It wouldnt hurt to try at least. :)
What does this plant do?
It's related to the African Violet family but takes little to no care and just blooms and blooms and grows! They said it would make good hanging basket material and now I think they are right what with all the side growth. Here is a good link...scroll down all the way if you don't want to read it to see the very pretty and unusual flowers.

Nice!
If it's alot like the AV it should root very easily. ;-)
