Sir/ Madam,
We need your help!
People do not typically think of gardening as a risky activity, nor should they. Nevertheless, our client, Ames True Temper, has learned of several incidents involving previously recalled wheelbarrows and is launching a new, broad-based consumer outreach effort. As you probably know, it is a real challenge to reach affected product users when a recall is announced.
We have been asked to help Ames True Temper find new ways to publicize the recall. Your site appears to be an excellent way to reach people who may have these wheelbarrows. On behalf of Ames True Temper, I am asking you to consider one or more of the following ways of informing your site visitors about this recall:
1) Posting information about the recall http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml04/04169.html and a link to the press release on the site message board/links page.
2) Mentioning it in the editorial/feature content of the site.
3) Providing banner ad space for a program announcement.
A set of four alternative program announcements (two GIF, two JPG, in IAB standard sizes) are readily available.
Please let me know if you need anything further or if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Regards,
David Heiden

Ames True Temper Wheelbarrow recall
How interesting. What can make a wheelbarrow be recalled I wonder?
Read this link: http://www.ames.com/notice/index.html
It explodes when you pump up the tire!!
dave
Dave, are you positive about the
tire?? I have been asking alot
of neighbors about wheelbarrows,
I'm buying my first one and
wanted to know which was better
the hardrubber tire or inflatable.
everyone agreed the inflatable.
Now, is this problem just with
this manufacturer or in general?
I don't know anything other than what I've posted already. Read the links. :)
dave
bumping this up for any who missed it.
I meant to look at my wheelbarrow wheel and see if it's one of these, and forgot! *sigh*
