Local place has some on sale. Still pricey, but some nice ones. I do not want to spend $$ if I cannot keep this over-winter and use as a perennial. I am in zone 5 and have a room that gets bright light for at least a couple hours a day and indirect light for the rest. My phal. orchids do well there. Any experienced help would be appreciated, before the good ones are gone!!
Alstromeria-any experience in keeping one over winter

Many Alstroemeria are deciduous so you only need a cool, frost free place to keep it pverwinter (some will take a few degrees of frost)
I've had mine for about 3 years...the last 2 it went in the GH before that it was in the house for the winter and it did just fine.
