mosquito jacket

south central, WI(Zone 5a)

Invested in one of the mesh jackets that also fits over the head (closed one piece with zipper)-wonderful > I was able to garden for a long time and not a bite. Yesterday, just opening the door was dangerous.
Now I am free to Weed!!!

Gee, Marcia...I thought Madison had outlawed mosquitos and sent them all packing out this way! LOL (After all the rain we've had for the past MONTHS...I'm thinking seriously about looking into "OFF" stock! :-D)

Hope the little bug-ers are still leaving you alone...I *gotta* get me one of those jackets!

That sounds like a wonderful idea! I may have to get both a jacket and pants... mosquitoes LOVE me.

I have heard about the "mosquito magnet" on the radio and just looked it up tonight. Gads zooks!! They are in the $300-$400 range. Stocking up on Yard n' Garden bug spray at $5 a can this summer. This is a bad year for mosquitos in my neck of the woods, southwestern Washington state.

Julie-Madison outlawed smoking in bars-mosquitoes doing Just fine::::
Darius-it works well. The netting makes it a bit hard to see when I am trying to work after dusk; but a small price to pay for being able to work out in the flowers.
Anastasia; our next door neighbors got one-maybe it will help in my garden!!! The price is just Too much for me!!

Hmmm, that smoking baqn just *might* be the REASON for all those mosquitos. hehehehehe Back in the 60's when my husband I were dating, he used to 'light up' to keep the mosquitos at bay when we went to the drive-in movies. ;-)
