I thought I died and went to heaven!

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Me wanna buy one too...in the future that is...LOL...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gosh, even tho I have the picture of this brug on my desktop, I still have to come back here every once in a while and look at it and the other pictures of it that Kell posted. I can't think of a single brug that I've had or any that I've seen in the US that is as impressive as this one is. I sure hope it will continue to throw blooms just like the ones I've seen so far. There have sure been a lot of great brugs hybridized in the last year or two. Our gardens should be ablaze with color in the coming years.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

You are so generous Kell! Thank you for my name on the list also. I would buy her in a heartbeat! Gosh, no more pepto! You are onto a darker place now!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Oh my......when i saw it.. my mouth dropped..

I haven't been around here for awhile.. too busy to check out.. still fighting with spidermites on brugs.. I am all behind on those news...

It's.. soooo deep red/pink.. I never thought I would see one like this.. What is name???? I want one!!! LOL

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

You are a celebrity! Everyone is buying VF11, company should give you credit for telling you use it.

Bet you didn't get much sleep last night, know I wouldn't!
It is a real beauty.

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

It is an amazing color, Kell. I am very happy for both you and Susie. I can`t wait to be able to get one of these. I am also holding my breath to see what Susie has next. Oh By The Way, Susie, I am more than willing to take some of the burden off of you and grow some of your seed-just so you can have more time to create something else we will all want.LOL. My best wishes to you both.{{{{{{{{OO}}}}}}}}}

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks all. And just think, lots more have Susie's seeds and we may get an even deeper one soon! I must say this is so much fun growing from seed. Last year I got one incredible white and this year so far I have 2 real beautiful dark ones. There are so many of us now hybridzing we are going to come up with some great ones. And some have Monika genes to work with so we really will be putting on a show!

VF -11 is fantasitc. I have used it for years. Seedlings get real fat stems on them from it. And annuals bloom their little hearts out when you spray it on them. It is my favorite fertilizer, I feel it is more of a tonic. It has never burned and I have a heavy hand!

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

I just wrote to her.. LOL I think I need some of that! :o)
Kell, and Susie, let me just say again, I am so happy for you. I know I have said it over and over. But Im so so proud of you 2. I know it will be much evaluated before its sent out or sold, and that makes me for one feel very confident in knowing that it will be set to high standards. Im SO anxious already. Its awsome, and as far as darkness, IMVHO nothing (that I have seen) from US brugs compares to this color, NOTHING!

Woodville, TX(Zone 8a)

Kell, I know I am a newbie to the Brugs, but when you do get ready to sell cuttings, starts, seeds, or whatever of this plant please add me to the wait list. I am going to get some of the VF 11. Sounds like it can be used on everything. Jenny

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

Well, If I can't get a freebie (*sigh*), can I buy a cutting?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I do not sell anything! I do not even trade because I am a pathetic procrastinator. I just give away usually if you can wait till I get to it. However, Susie will get this to grow herself ASAP and we will see how it does for her. If it is really a keeper. I sure hope it is for I can't wait for all of us out there to have her to hybridize with it to try to get even closer to a true red.

You can see this brug across the yard. It really is amazing.

Shelly, you are so much fun! You really love this one. I do too! LOL. If only I had taken care of this one better or put her in the brug bed, she would be huge now instead of stunted in a 2 gallon pot. I do not even have any side growth on her to cut. My urge now is to kill her with kindness.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

well, kell, you are too kind to us :O)

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! There aren't enough adjectives to describe her incredible beauty and radiance!!! She certainly "shines" as a Brug beacon!!

PLEASE, Please, please add me to your ever growing list of adoring Brug fans, who are trying to wait, as patiently as, so we possibly may have cuttings and/or seeds from this magnificent Brug!!! I'm in total AWE!!!!!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Just a suggestion.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Good one Kyle!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I like that name too. Gosh, this one has to have just the right name. What a brug!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Jen
Donna, sorry you wasted a day on my account.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

WOW kell, I am so happy for you and Susie!!! What a wonderful flower that is indeed. Looks like the list is going to be very long for this brug and I can sure see why. I would love one of these someday.

**** Lani, happy dancing around my ponds just for Kell and Susie****

I can hardly wait till Susie shows us what is up HER sleeve!!!!! Don't make us wait too long of I will have to do a roadtrip. The gator won't bother me because I have a gun and know how to use it. LOL

Lani

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kyle, I think Kyle is a beautiful name but not to put the men folk out but this one needs a more femine name. LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Deb, empty your email. Bounced mail since yesterday morning.

Sorry Kell, I didn't know how else to get a message to her. LOL!

Pocola, OK(Zone 7a)

I think the name needs to include kell or Susie's name in it, or both.

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

Kell,
Before you die and go to Heaven take plenty of cuttings and get them started for us all.
That's a great flower. I knew it wouldn't be long before we got our first red one here in the states. That double pink must be coming in next.I think I have that seedling growing in my yard. (yeah right don't I wish)!!!

Are you going to consult with Susie and the two of you select a name or will you do a name that brug game like some have done on here before?

How about:

1.Kell's Show stopper
2.Cherries Jubilee
3.REDRUM (from The Shining) spell that backwards and see what you get.

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh Kell, for once I am speechless.....OMG that is one beautiful brug. Yep you can put me on that endless list for cuttings to....
Congratulations..... :o)
Dee

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)
