Cute, huh? lol I'm actually looking for the little clay feet for large flower pots to keep them off the concrete patio. I have my brugs planted in them and want to keep them close by so I can smell them when they bloom. I found the little feet at HD, but that's it. Thanks!
Feet of Clay
I just saw some really cute ones shaped like turtles and frogs in the new Improvements catalog we received. Here's their site: http://www.improvementscatalog.com/product.asp?product=233218zz&dept%5Fid=400&macs=macs=MP4WGGL
If that link doesn't work, search their site for pot feet. :)
Oh, get me OUT of that site! Check out the cute rubber garden clogs: http://www.improvementscatalog.com/Parent.asp?product=217596x&dept%5Fid=300&subdept%5Fid=301&macs=macs=MP4WGGL
I bought some at Lowe's. Plain terra cotta kind.
gardenwife, are those garden shoes any good? I wear an old pair of Timberland. It is waterproof but kind of hot. Those rubber shoes, wouldn't they get hot?
Thanks.
Oh, Gardenwife, those are the cutest!! little frogs. Thanks so much for the link. I may get a couple of those for me and also for my mom's bd coming up. I'll also check out Lowe's for the plainer type. Thanks, Drop.
I think the clogs would get hot, you're right. I tend to wear my old slip-on sandals when I'm doing anything except working in mud.
Glad you liked those pot feet; I thought you might. :)
I have a pair of the rubber garden clogs and love them. They get muddy and you just hose them off. They aren't any hotter than tennis shoes. Before getting them, I would wear my good tennies gardening. Now I can save my tennies for work and good.
I love my garden clogs. I used to wear old running shoes to garden in and when I needed to run inside for something I was always having to untie and re-tie my shoes. These just slip on and off and are very easy to clean up.
